  1. No thanks. I take it you mean because the text in that game would be illegible on a 4" display? Well, I tested that back when I made the mock-up, and it's actually OK. I know you're a fellow iPhone SE owner, so grab your phone, hold it horizontally and load up a high quality YouTube video of Xenoblade 2 gameplay, see what you think.
  2. Added the Switch Lite to my "Switch micro" mock-up: You can see just how minimal the size reduction is compared to a standard Switch!
  3. It’s still bloody huge! You had one job, Nintendo... Yeah, not for me. Had they got it smaller (much smaller) then maybe, but that still isn’t a true portable system IMO.
  4. So I see the Senran Kagura boobie pinball game (not actual title, unfortunately ) got released in the West. Any of N-E's "pinball fans" picked it up?
  5. Why didn't you try the green route? New stage: Some of you may remember I did those type of stages in the first SMM too. They were more entertaining on that game due to the amiibo feature, but I figured I'd have a go at making some in SMM2 anyway. "Enjoy!"
  6. Yeah, while that mobile style monetisation system is absolutely repugnant, all of Nintendo's mobile games (including this one it seems) are at least perfectly playable without spending any money at all. Anyway, business matters aside this is actually a pretty fun game. The presentation is great and the gameplay was been very well adapted. Online multiplayer is especially entertaining and appears to be unlimited too (only played a few games, but I don't think it uses the heart system of the single player mode) which is nice.
  7. Baby Face is hidden in an interesting way on that one.
  8. Yeah, I’m about halfway through story mode at the moment, but I’m really not feeling it anymore. The rebuilding the castle thing is cute but most of the levels are just not fun for me. Some of them are straight-up bad in my opinion and even break the fundamental rules that they try and establish in the lesson section! I just want to get through it as quickly as possible now really for whatever unlocks there are, so that I can focus on making my own stuff and playing other people’s creations. Might start using the Luigi parts/skip thing, that’s how enjoyable I’m finding some of these...
  9. The point? You said it yourself, it was fun and satisfying. And yeah, you can indeed just swim past and avoid the “boss” altogether if you prefer! I like adding lots of different options to my courses/levels/stages/whatever we’re supposed to call ‘em. Anyway, thanks for playing it and for the feedback.
  10. Cheers everyone, great games.
  11. Why no amiibo option @Glen-i? “I” could still be active in this fight instead of just spectating.
  12. Sorry, just about to have dinner.
  13. Excellent and hilarious vid, as always.
  14. I believe it only gives a notification for plays, comments and likes. Although there are notifications for when someone else claims a record on a course, I don’t think it applies to records on courses that you’ve made. As for how times are calculated, I imagine it just adds any gameplay from a checkpoint on to whatever you had from the start point for that particular run, rather than adding all of the retries too.
  15. Really? I figured you’d be used to my foolish antics by now. Cool. I’ll be there.
  16. So it seems multiplayer might not be the only area of SMM2’s online that’s having issues, apparently it’s also possible for some uploaded courses to not display to other users. I think my most recent one has fallen victim to this as it’s still on zero plays. Could someone try and access it via the ID: X63-LGD-MFG to see if it’s actually on the server and then let me know? I might have to re-upload it.
  17. I actually thought I'd be able to activate my final smash in mid-air and stylishly KO @Ugh first aid and @Glen-i... I was wrong.
  18. My latest: I absolutely love the forest theme. Wish all themes could use the water option... Anyway, this one has a nice speedrun route in it (more than one actually) I managed 00’50”833 on the clear-check. Looking forward to seeing if that gets beaten. I forgot about the clear-check time thing on my first course, did it really slowly. But since Enter the Coursebot again I’ve been making sure to try and set a good time before uploading.
  19. Either my Switch account got hacked or you mentioned the wrong person as I’ve not played many N-E stages yet and have definitely made some of my own.
  20. I get the thinking behind that, but it’s eventually going to have a negative impact on the longevity of the game, for both players and creators. It’s also just weird that they’ve gone with a limit of 32, when the original allowed for 100. You’d expect it to be the same amount or more for the sequel, not less! When you factor in that we pay for online now it’s even stranger. Personally, I think they had it right in SMM with the upload limit increasing based on positive feedback. Anyway, I’m definitely hoping this is something they will reconsider in a future update. And I reckon they will actually, because once the majority of dedicated creators have used their 32 upload slots the amount of fresh content appearing in Course World is going to drop significantly. I can’t imagine anyone will want to be deleting old uploads in order to post new stuff, and I certainly won’t be doing that.
  21. That is such a gorgeous amiibo, it almost made me break my "absolutely no more than 1 amiibo per character rule" but I managed to stay strong. I look at my Toon Link amiibo with disgust now though, knowing that he's responsible for me not owning the Link's Awakening one.
  22. Yeah, I've started checking these out now. Great stuff. You can tell the developers wanted to address a lot of the issues that cropped up with user created content in the first SMM, and I think they've done a good job with these lessons. Anyway, I'm very much enjoying my time with SMM2. Other than the poor online performance (which thankfully seems less frequent now) and the fact that you can't use the D-Pad in the editor when playing in docked mode (WTF, Nintendo? ) it's basically the perfect sequel. Well... they really need to be sorting out that 32 course upload limit too. Why the hell is there even a limit in the first place? I mean how big do we reckon course data actually is, can't be more than a few KB surely, if that. Smash Bros. Ultimate appears to have no limitation at all (apart from the 15 uploads per day thing) and there's blatantly way more data being handled there with stuff like images and videos. Quite surprised there's no integration with the Switch Online app too, has there been any mention of a Course World style service being made available at some point? Seems like a no-brainer.
  23. I love how casually he does it too. I just noticed that you didn't actually mention me in those tweets, I'm @Meownolito on Twitter. So that @Manolito person is probably quite confused now.
  24. This one is a sequel to one of my levels on the Wii U version of SMM. There’s quite a lot going on in it (probably too much ) but I just couldn’t stop adding/tweaking stuff! Anyway, hope people enjoy it:
  25. Hey Mike, Long time no see! How’s things? Nice to see you back here anyway, and playing Super Mario Maker 2. I checked out your level, the final bit was intense! Very rewarding to clear though.
