No worries man. Think it made it funnier actually, as no one was expecting 200cc at that point.

Shame about the connection issues again. Anyway, fun session. Didn't end up exactly as planned but it's all good. Might switch GP2 & 3 around for the highlight vid. : peace:

Trackmania Turbo is a great local multiplayer game. :awesome: 16 player hotseat mode, 4 player splitscreen and the "co-op" mode, Double Driver.

Some QR codes from Game Freak: : peace: I'm still completely addicted to this, it's just impossible to resist its charm. *EDIT* You must have JavaScript enabled on your device to view Miiverse posts that have been embedded in a website. View post in Miiverse

Looking forward to checking that game out. Would've done so already if I wasn't in the middle of Trackmania Turbo and therefore already getting a racing game fix. Don't wanna OD.

Just Cause 3's initial loading time can be pretty terrible: In fact (although I've not played it for a while now) I believe they managed to make it even worse with the latest patch. Best thing about it.

The original XL model. You playing on New 3DS then?If not, I'm surprised you haven't experienced any slowdown at all, as it's pretty common. Yeah, I know you're not really a fan of luck based elements in gaming, so can definitely understand the frustration. *EDIT* Just had the most epic race with this horse!: You must have JavaScript enabled on your device to view Miiverse posts that have been embedded in a website. View post in Miiverse He was running out of stamina on the final stretch (only had 3 heart cards available) I waited until the very last moment and then used the whip to bring him level with the rival and then into the lead (by literally a pixel ) just before the finish line! It seems like being patient on the final stretch can really pay off.

I found the best thing was to spend a while reading the tips section, as the tutorial does indeed try to cover quite a lot at once. As for the start solitaire, I think being quick to select a card grants you a better position on the track (and higher comfort zone) while taking longer and choosing a better card will get you more initial unity power. Enthusiasm is also determined by the length of a course. Longer courses make it more difficult to increase enthusiasm, so even a higher amount of energy can end up getting you less. I've also had quite a few races now where everything has gone perfectly (the horse at the end even pops up and says so) but I've still lost. It's just part of the game, there can be a pretty high element of luck to it (which makes sense really for a game involving cards and horse racing ) I think it's also a way of encouraging players to get into the breeding aspect of the game to gradually obtain better horses. Anyway, I'm still absolutely loving this, just can't stop playing it! It can be frustrating at times, sure. And the slowdown can be catastrophic! (Seriously, what is it with Game Freak and bad frame rates on 3DS? Can kind of understand it with Pokémon, but with this... an entirely 2D game. So weird. ) But yeah, it's just such a silly concept, and so charming that I can't help but be entertained.

Time for an update... Since my last post in here I've played through Bloodborne. Absolutely mad game. Think I'm a bit too old/casual to fully enjoy this kind of thing now, but I can still appreciate its quality (especially the presentation, which is amazing). A must-play for anyone who enjoys a challenge. Something colourful and lighthearted was in order after that, and it was PKTBALL on iOS. Basically Pong, but with loads of different characters (each complete with their own theme tune + court design) and special power ups. Very simple touch control scheme that works perfectly, and another fantastic example of unobtrusive ads in a F2P game. Also, the announcer really sounds like the one from Smash Bros. Time for another "free" game, but this time from Nintendo! It's Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge! Fantastic little game for anyone with some amiibo kicking around. Unfortunately I could only take on the standard levels plus Mario & Yoshi's, but I'll certainly be keeping the game installed on the chance I ever get other compatible amiibo.

Here's the QR code for my retired horse from the demo version: If anyone has a QR for a male horse, please post it. : peace: Good stuff. *EDIT* You must have JavaScript enabled on your device to view Miiverse posts that have been embedded in a website. View post in Miiverse

Not sure how it works on Xbox, but on PS4 it ain't tech savvy at all. You literally just stick the disc in and it automatically starts installing, depending on the game it can be really fast too!I've been amazed at how quickly some games have installed actually.

Nah, you only need a Google account to upload to YouTube (the second option that pops up in the steps I gave to Kounan yesterday) otherwise it just uploads the MKTV replay data via Miiverse, and will appear inside MKTV under the friends section. Forgot to reply to this yesterday, but like Glen-i already said, that be a big no-no. Also, what the hell dude, you know you can't go any higher on the league table right?

Yeah, it's just sure a bizarre situation this year. Did some countdowns anyway... Microsoft Conference: [countdown=06/13/2016 5:30 PM;]Count down:[/countdown] 90%[/hr] Ubisoft Conference: [countdown=06/13/2016 9:00 PM;]Count down:[/countdown] 90%[/hr] Sony Conference: [countdown=06/14/2016 2:00 AM;]Count down:[/countdown] 90%[/hr] Nintendo Zelda thingy: [countdown=06/14/2016 5:00 PM;]Count down:[/countdown] 90%[/hr]

Yeah. There's no change to the way MKTV works within the actual game.

Anyone else pick up the full version today? I already transferred over my save data from the demo, and retired that horse to the farm. Got a new horse now that actually looks a bit like a Pokémon (it's yellow with a orange mane ) and it's also doing very well for me so far. Looking forward to its retirement so he can get it on with my first horse, and create a new super horse!

Can you imagine the hype if this ended up just being a scheme to make people think Nintendo were only going to show Zelda at E3, but then they actually did a full-on press conference complete with loads of new Wii U and 3DS titles and then the NX reveal!? Not gonna happen, I know. But just imagine if it did... That would easily top the reaction to Twilight Princess from 2004.

Yep, that's it: You must have JavaScript enabled on your device to view Miiverse posts that have been embedded in a website. View post in Miiverse It's just a pic on Miiverse, but after a while it will appear in MKTV as the replay data. Cheers. : peace:

Hang on, I'll check now. OK, @Kounan. When you're watching the replay in MKTV, press A and select "Upload Highlight Reel", then choose yes to the first option, and no to the second. Then you just need to type something and hit "Send".

Just started playing this, it's actually pretty terrible. The characters look nothing like how they did in the previous games, the puzzles are really basic, and there's no voice acting! Whoops! This isn't the Uncharted - Fortune Hunter thread, is it? Sorry. Actually, that's quite a cool little game. And you can earn rewards that transfer to Uncharted 4 with it. :awesome:
-
OK, will do. Not sure actually, err... @BowserBasher, help! Hahaha! Sorry amigo, had to be done. I also intentionally slowed down on one race in order to get multiple hits on someone with the Piranha Plant. I have a problem.
-
Real shame about the connection issues tonight, and the entire group D/C after the first race. That's also gonna mess up the highlights, as I now don't have the first race in MKTV. Unless... @Kounan, seeing as you D/C'd for the rest of the races, any chance you could post the very first race we did (on GBA Mario Circuit) to Miiverse so I can grab the MKTV data?

Man, I've never been less hyped for E3. Also, EA and Activision aren't attending E3 at all this year!? What the hell? -
Yeah, sounds like a plan. But even if we can't play at the same time, having more people involved in the friend challenges would be cool. Speaking of which, I set one up the other day, with that track I made on the beta test. It's set up without an expiry date, so give it a try! The track editor is pretty good in this, I've been sticking to the advanced mode now, which takes a bit of getting used to, but it's possible to create some pretty crazy stuff with it. BTW, just noticed you weren't on my friend list, so sent you a request. *EDIT* @lostmario, have you got this game? If not, check it out (think there's still a demo up on the PS store) I reckon you'd really dig it. Oh, and @dazzybee, I remember you always being peeved at the way time trial records and ghost data was done in Mario Kart, well you should check this out too, as it's literally perfect in that regard.
