  1. I personally find it rather ridiculous when people don't know how to read. I said I'm keeping 2. One I'll keep sealed as a collector's item and the other I'll open for the controller. Then the other 2 I said I'll probably sell in time. Don't know yet. Never said I'd put them on Ebay, never sold a thing on Ebay and I never said a word about scalping people either. I've never done that to anyone but if I got enough to cover my outlay I'd be happy. With the market being flooded now with them it'll hopefully drive the price down.
  2. I expected them to win just wasn't sure if they'd keep a clean sheet or go through. They got all the breaks last night. A stupid penalty to give away, sucker punch before half-time and a soft free kick with terrible goalkeeping. Couple that with bad finishing and you've got a perfect plaster covering up all the cracks. Hope they get hammered at the weekend before they'll be singing the Blues again.
  3. Yes Olympiakos were awful, they were only better than Galatasaray in the second leg matches. Galatasaray were the worst team by a mile. Juve must have been sick looking at that. Like I said before the game it's only Olympiakos, they're nobodys. At least they managed a few shots on target. With better luck and better finishing they would have got a goal. That double save yes the first save was good, straight at him mind you but the second one De Gea was on his ass at the near post and the Olympiakos player kicks it straight at him again. All their best efforts were straight at him except for the cut back in the first half inside the box blazed over the bar. Let's see them get Real or Bayern in the next round and get trampled to death.
  4. Olympiakos sucker punched right at halftime. Should have been 1-1. Some bad play from both sides. United have had the luck with the penalty and Olympiakos missing those 2 glorious chances.
  5. As much as it's tempting to see United get absolutely pulverized in the next round by Barca, Real or Bayern, it will hit their coffers and share price if they don't make it. As bad as United are, it's Olympiakos! Olympiakos! Wayne Rooneys wages is probably more than the whole of their squad. Greek clubs are ranked 12th I think on the UEFA rankings scale. It's probably the equivalent of losing to a relegation side from League One. But then at the same time I don't want Moyes to get the sack. It'll ruin all the fun.

  7. Probably. No was just expressing my delight at buying Xenoblade Chronicles. Took a lot of travelling but it was worth it. And what's better than 1 copy of Xenoblade? Why 4 copies of course. Thankfully it worked out at 2 copies from each store, halfway across the country apart though. All in great condition. Just 1 has a little nick on the left side halfway up. I had to stalk the Argos website waiting for uncollected reservations to come back up for grabs and 2 kind code donations, I gave away a load of codes myself. All reserved thankfully before the price increase. Going to keep 2 for collection purposes and probably sell the other 2 in time.
  8. Bowling was hands down my favourite sport from this game. So many hours were spent on this alone. It's also the most complete compared to the other 4 sports.
  9. http://mynintendonews.com/2014/03/14/kojima-wants-to-see-snake-return-to-super-smash-bros/ Needless to say I hope this doesn't happen. Kojima has some cheek.
  10. I'm looking forward to the United v Liverpool game as well. I'm not fearing it and yeah nobody knows what the clown Frank Spencer will do.
  11. I know but I didn't make it. It was the best I could find.
  12. That would make so much sense and it would be brilliant.
  13. Pic Of The Day "Pic of the day. Looks like someone's enjoying the bachelor life in this pad." Well late this morning with the update. People were getting well hyped up elsewhere thinking it could be Yoshi's reveal seeing as the new Yoshi game is coming out for 3DS.
  14. Dammit! I want Xenoblade. Why is life so unfair? Edit: I'm absolutely disgusted. Turns out it was available in Ireland but my search last night showed up nothing. The ravenous rats have devoured every last one of them. Filthy b@st@rds!!! I checked at 10.30 last night, it must have been in stock but argos brought up 0 results for my search. Why? Why? Why must life be so hard?
  15. Ah here, there's no way this is available in Ireland. I never ever saw this listed in the catalogues. Nowhere had the bundle back then, not even GAME when they were still here. That is a ridiculous deal. I'd buy 5 if I could. Edit: Am I reading this right, is this an old post, have I gone back in time? How can this still be stockpiled somewhere?
  16. Funny you should mention Wii Speak, I was in Tesco on Monday and they had 7 of them on display at €40 each. What a crock of $h1t€! I only ever used it on 2 games, The Conduit and Monster Hunter 3, the latter of which is online no more. Bought it with Animal Crossing but never broke the seal on that game. It wasn't great and underused. How many games used it? <10? <5 even? Then it was replaced by the headbanger headset, again underused. Although between MH3 and Blops(more this), there was 1,200+ hours spent online so I probably got my moneys worth of both peripherals.
  17. Like the gamepad, what's the point of parental controls if you don't or can't use them?
  18. That to me is another big problem with Wii U. Only one person can use the gamepad. It was meant to be the selling point and differentiator of the console. They could have worked around that by putting their games online. The gamepad is a bit like someone stuffing their face full of chocolate cake while handing everyone else brussel sprouts and saying "here enjoy"!
  19. I agree with all of this, consider yourself lucky it was £200, I know it's still rotten. For me it was €400 down the drain at launch. If I was looking at buying the Wii U now instead of back then, I wouldn't touch it unless it was £150, maybe even lower and even then you'd know you've just bought a dead console barring a handful of Nintendo titles.

  21. And Spurs are now West Brom. The only tough game was Liverpool and they fluked their way through with huge help from the ref.
