You just reminded me of the Liverpool game. How ye won that I'll never know. Liverpool had so many chances and of course the most blatant stonewall penalty turned down. I remember thinking if this ends in a draw the replay would've have been hilarious watching Liverpool rip Arsenal limb from limb at Anfield. Man City too were lucky maybe not to the same extent back a couple of rounds against Watford, 2-0 down at half-time, Watford wilted but still City winning 4-2 only got 2 of those goals in the last 5 minutes. A Wigan v Sheffield United final would be nice.

I played this way back through the gameboy player for the Gamecube. Enjoyed it, don't remember it being spectacular, it was good fun but I don't think I finished it. I think I got to the very end and maybe the last boss or something tripped me up and I just left it.

You can scratch City. Didn't think it was possible, they were 16/1 before the game. Rode their luck, awful defending from City's point of view but brilliant stuff from Wigan. City's goal was offside as well. Boyce was a real hero.

Semis of the FA Cup and only a few months ago ye looked like nailed on relegation candidates if not certainties. It's good for Hull too. Might have preferred Sunderland to win today but it's all good regardless. Would love Wigan to make the final but it's near an Everest feat to pull it off.

You were saying you thought Spurs could win or at least get a draw. I just posted a photo with damning stats. It turned out they were useless today and I did say I'd like Spurs to get a result. I said before that I hope they finish ahead of United. You slag Spurs off all the time but curse anyone else if they agree. They were useless, don't read the papers tomorrow or watch MOTD later if you don't want to hear any critical comments. And I'm sure they'll have stronger words than me saying they were useless.

There's something really fishy about this games delay. I'm thinking this game was cancelled for Wii U a while ago and Nintendo have done some bargaining behind the scenes. Ubisoft wouldn't talk about this game for a good while there and wouldn't deny or confirm whether it was cancelled. Now the game is paused and has a vague 2014 date. I bet Nintendo paid them just to complete the port, they've no real other 3rd party games, a cancellation would further implode Wii U's reputation and maybe now this will be the big 3rd party holiday release. Who knows?

How is that possible? Do you have floorboards? I suppose wood is easier than blocks to pass through and it is largely a cavity and a bit of plasterboard between floors. But still mine can't manage 1 floor.

And don't plan on going too far with the gamepad. It works in the next room when the console is directly on the other side. It can't cross a hallway and not a chance of working upstairs. Maybe my walls are made of lead or maybe you need walls made of paper. Nintendo dropping that in promoting the Wii U probably means they know it's not very good.

If I knew it was future proof, yes. Developers would have supported it if it was similar to the competition. It would have been like the GC/PS2/XBOX generation. Why is it that people say if you want 3rd party games that you should buy a competitors console? I paid near €400 for the Wii U, the same as PS4. Are they told if they want 3rd party games they should buy another console? My money's as good as theirs. We were promised things would be different. We got Tekken at launch, we never got that series before ever. Things looked rosy then but it was built shoddy foundations and a house of lies. I've done my bit supporting 3rd party games. I've about 10 games not including VC, NintendoLand is the only 1st party game and I only own that because the ZombiU bundle was sold out. MK8 will be my next 1st party game after 18 months, that's bad. I've 60+ games each on both Wii and GC. Half to 2/3 are 3rd party games. I can't see myself owning that many Wii U games. I was perfectly happy with both consoles, sure we missed out on some games but nothing like this. This is hell, I can't take another 5 years of this.

You do that. Show me what I twisted? You made a statement, I showed a video, I didn't twist anything. That video is Nintendo's concept of what the Wii U is. It's better and easier to run away and ignore when you can't prove what you're talking about.
