No, it's not an Australia thing, it's actually a PAL thing. All the PAL versions, which were programmed a few months later than the original NTSC ones, already contained the new politically correct version of OOT. I am from Portugal and I also have the PAL version with the green blood. Now, what's even more interesting than the red/green blood is the fact that the original NTSC version of OOT had a different Fire Temple tune than the one we, PAL owners, know. I have never heard the original tune for this temple, does any one know of a link that has it for download? They say the Muslim community was offended by the original music, which apparently sounded a lot like an actual Islamic prayer... EDIT: Shit, I think I got my facts all wrong.... As I seem to remember, Zelda didn't take that long to go from NTSC to PAL... At this point in time, they were already working fast in that department and I think the delay was only about 2 or 3 weeks.... So I don't know anymore.... All I know is that I bought my copy before Christmas 98 and it has green blood in it. According to Wikipedia, the version 1.1 of the game hit stores in early 99.... but that can't be right, because if it were, then I would own version 1.0. Which I don't think I do.

It's a fact that the Wii version will be a mirror of the original product. I really see no case for discussion on this issue. I never said I had anything against it being mirrored or not, I think you are assuming things (I'm saying this because of your reply to Raven later, you probably thought I was bashing the mirrored version, nothing further from the truth). I merely said it will be the mirrored version, wether you play it first or not, wether it makes a difference or not. It's a fact, period. And finally, I don't give a rat's ass about it being mirrored or not, I'll play it anyway.

Yeah and if a tree falls in the woods and nobody's there to hear it fall, then it makes no sound. The GC version is what was programmed for years. The Wii version will be the mirror version, regardless of what people play first.

This is true, Sony DVD Players aren't worth a shit, at least a lot of models aren't. Sony products have an incredible probability of being faulty, more than any other "big name" brand that I know. I sincerely do not know how their name got big in the first place... But Konfucius, you can buy a player from any other brand very cheap nowadays, cheaper than a game. With Dolby Digital and DTS decoders, component video, the whole shebang. And they'll even read a cheese sandwitch if you put that in them.

You can get a damned DVD Player that will play anything for as low as €40 so what's the big deal? I buy my consoles to play games, period.

Excuse me for not knowing and asking this, but since when are the PS2 buttons pressure sensitive? I've played plenty of PS2 at friends' houses and I never noticed that.

Oh come on.... I understand what you're saying, but just look at how steep those cliffs are. You really think a horse can ride up there? There are places in the real world you can't reach (on foot or horse, anyway) so why can't there be places like that in a game?

The radar is something that divides me.... On one hand, as you imply, it is very much needed. But on the other hand, it almost turns the game into a 2D overhead view game where you control a dot against other dots with cones of vision. There are many areas that I passed looking ONLY at the radar, it's like the 3D graphics are there just as an extra.....

We already have 3 trailers and besides the first 30 or so minutes of gameplay which trigger some of the events have already been disclosed (CUBE released it on DVD). I say we already know TOO much about Twilight Princess. Playing it without knowing anything is much better.

I still have to play the game on Hard. I only finished it on Normal.

You can't move while in first person, so don't think of the game as an alternative to FPS.... It's just so you can aim better at or evade an enemy that is far away out of the radar's reach and also so you can see the graphics up close and personal. And you CAN reverse the Y-axis in the Options, JetSetWilly. The price, yeah, nowadays it's a rare game and stores and people in general tend to ask stupid ammounts of money for it. Just like Beyond Good and Evil...

Have you seen the 10 new pics posted on N-Europe? They look fuckin awesome! Check out Link's shield on the lava picture. And those are GC graphics? I am quite happy with those graphics, better ones will come, but these are enough for me, the art direction of the game is amazing.
