Yes, he did look real (although he also looked retarded, lol), but did you notice there was nothing else on screen? Of course, real time is not the same as in-game. That real time footage was just Tiger, nothing else. If you add some dozen characters and a somewhat big and fully detailed environment, it will not look like that, I guarantee it.

Incredible how, despite all the visual upgrades, Virtua Fighter 5 still has the same physics as basically the first one... The character may look more real, but the way they move is as crappy as it was 10 years ago!

Yes, there was and I have not yet seen anything that comes anywhere near the pics they showed last year of Killzone 2, that they used to hype their console. Of course, REAL in game footage looks nothing like that.

The only in game footage they had thus far, the "Uhh Japan History Uhh" game, looked nothing special, but they sure present some pretty videos. No in game though.

But now, get your mind back to the old controller trailer, from TGS last September. There are two (at least) games there that can actually be suggesting some sort of 3D holographic output device.... Namely, the dentist one, and the one where the 3 girls are killing flies, or whatever. A game about killing flies, the way they move their eyes, etc, it suggests a 3D environment. Now, of course it's just a trailer, a marketing move, but who knows? I'm not putting any money on this, it's just something that hit me now as i rewatched the trailer, which I hadn't seen in a few months. The killing flies thing made me think about it... Also, notice that no one in that trailer is wearing any type of goggles.

Very interesting game. That quote about using torches to scare rats sounds awesome, we'll see how this turns out.
