So the GAME site once again says 22nd December. I've just ordered those ones and I'm gona live in hope. I'll still check in the shops over crimbo though.

Having now played Red Steel in my opinion I can totally say its damn awesome. It's not Zelda, but it ROCKS! The controls aren't flawed at all, I got the hang of them imediately! But maybe I'm just a natural. A friend of mine tried it and she was all over the place.

My GAME said they'd have the cables in friday. And so does the website, so I hope its right.

Well if you're going on shipped numbers....yes. 111 million according to Wiki. Our GC all nighter was cut short by people falling asleep and going to bed lol! We only lasted till about 2! And now its gona 4:30, I've had 2 hours sleep and I have 2 hours more before I can even think about getting ready to go get the Wii I'm so excited, its funny really...I keep telling myself "Grow up dude, you're 19" lol!!

Me and my friends are all having an all nighter on the GameCube tonight to give it a propper send off before the Wii arrives. Kinda sad :p We even bought a cake and some candles which we're gona light at midnight lmao!

They're the component inputs...its just another type of input for your TV. Better picture than using a scart or RGB. You can buy component cables for the Wii.

Wow. that video was awesome. I LOVE the music at the end. It's kinda weird how people say the GameCube was a flop...but when you look back on the games...it was freakin awesome.

On that newsnight one....not trying to be a fanboy, but how can that woman (Josephine Hart) say the Wii is boring? She asked her eldest son what he learns from gaming (who I assume has a playstation) and he said "because they're becoming more like movies I learn consequences for my actions"...er...sure, when you crash your car in Gran Turismo, you spend 6 months in hospital and have to pay loads for car repairs...er....I think not. I really don't know why but it actually pissed me off. She was trying to claim that making FUN games is wrong and that the more serious ones make kids learn :s Riiiight.

I went into Woolworths and pre ordered one. They said to just bring the receipt in on launch day, so whether I get one is yet to be seen.

The release date for the component cables on GAME.co.uk has changed back to december 8th. Well...was last time I checked.

Well I'll probably be online all night. I wont be able to sleep and I'm sure there will be loads more people like myself on the forums here talking until the early hours. Then at 6 i'll get up, have a shower leave here by 7 and then get to GAME for 8 and just wait around till they open. Then when I get back...I have an engineering lecture...but 1 lecture missed wont hurt...will it?! :p I'll probably take my DS too, there's bound to be some other's waiting outside with DS's.

So assuming I wont be on the same channel or playing for long periods of time...would anyone recommend that TV? Or am I better off getting an LCD one?
