  1. 699,464! Lets watch it tip over the 700,000 mark! lol. Hmm...so if the site isn't real time...I mean I doubt it has a connection to every single retailer in America....I wonder why I updates so often...maybe some lil kid is sitting there editing it manually every 5 mins lol! Edit: I'm refering to that next gen wars site by the way.
  2. He'll get RIS in his wrist or something lmao! Go him!
  3. When Nintendo say there's the posibility of adding new items/levels/weapons in a game using WiiConnect24 where does all this get stored? I assume on the flash memory? But wouldn't that limit a game to the amount of add ons it can have? What if some 3rd party bring out a huge update for a game...wouldn't it take up a fat chunk of space?
  4. Very true, good point, I never thought of it that way.
  5. What a moron. That's just selfish when there's plenty of people in America who want a Wii but are probably going home empty handed. He's just bitter that he's ginger and a virgin.
  6. Wow, nicely said. To be honest I think with the launch of the Wii graphics should be taken out of reviewing a game. Because back in the day all consoles were closely matched on power. But now cus all 3 have different graphical capabilities I don't think its fair as PS3 games would always score highly in this department. And plus games like the metal slug anthology...how are you supposed to rate those 16 bit graphics?
  7. BAAAHAHAHA, Hilarious pic. I wish there would be the same amount of each console available and at the same price. Then we could really see who is likely to win this time round. Although it would likely be the PS3.
  8. http://uk.gamespot.com/ps2/sports/tonyhawksproskater3/review.html LOL at the blokes hair in the "perfect" THPS3.
  9. TBH I agree about the orchestrated music. Granted the midi is done EXTREMELY well, and to the untrained ear it sounds authentic..even I thought the music was orchestrated in this one.
  10. Haha, I get the impression that the bloke who did the vide review on GameSpot for Zelda is quie a sony fan boy. Like when they do On The Spot he seems to just sit there with a PS3 controller in his hands because he wants it so bad.
  11. Bout £1.60. You can't nock that, its probably the cheapest you're gona get. The "student club" here though, called Time, only serves alcopops and shots, those are hardly alcoholic and £2 a bottle lol!
  12. Haha, i'd say I'm lucky because I live in Swansea. If I was in London then I'd NEVER pay their prices.
  13. Haha, I LOVE Strongbow! Can't stand magners and i've never tried gaymers....name makes me laugh lol. Woodpecker and scumpy jack are nice too. But back to my main point. Yeah I usually have a good time in clubs even if I do get pissed before hand, but there's still taxi fare home on top of it all and usually adds up to more than the whole night is worth.
  14. 35 beans?! Just to get in?! That's ridiculous. I recon if you're in somewhere that doesn't charge to get in, and you're with your friends and people who you care about you can have just as good a time!
  15. Meh, I do have an awesome night out, but the hang over after isn't nearly worth it. I'd rather drink at home with friends and pay pennies for drinks than pay the price they charge at clubs.
  16. I have one saying know your roots! with a NES controller. Classic!
  17. At home I never really cared for going into town and getting drunk and dancing the night away. I prefered to just go to a local pub, get pissed and have a laugh with my friends, i'd leave the dancing to parties etc. So now I'm at uni everyone seems to want to go out and get pissed in town. I'm fine with having a drink but I refuse to queue half an hour to get drinks and pay like £2 a drink in a club, its such a rip off and pointless. I can't understand why people will pay such extortiant prices for alcohol and then have nothing to show for it. Last night I went out and spent nearly £20! And the next morning all I have to show for my £20 is a headache and a horrible taste in my mouth. I see much more sense in spending my money on surfing lessons and saving it for a Wii! At least then I have something to show for my hard earned money!
  18. Haha, good, i'm not the only one then. Most of my mates don't have them anymore! Poor lost souls, lol.
  19. Haha, well yes ok, in normal advent calendars i don't eat the chocolate....i'd like to...but i just don't feel like eating it first thing in the morning when i open it. You'd think at 19 i'd be over this sort of thing, but it wouldn't seem like christmas without an advent calendar.
  20. Oooh, they had an advent calendar which you'd open each day till crimbo and it had goodies behind each window. Like mp3s or messenger icons etc.

I'm 19 now, joined the site when I first got the net, so that would bewhen N64 europe was just turning into Cube Europe - so i'm guessing like 2000 - 2001.
  22. Anyone remember when Nintendo did the advent calendar on their site? I loved that, I wish they'd do another one this year.
  23. Haha, cool, I feel special, lol. Yeah I wont bother changing it on here. Might just use it for the Wii.
  24. So like, tbh my username is kinda poo. Its my initials with my date of birth, but its not memorable to people, so I decided I'll change my username for future forums and for the Wii online thing etc. My fav band is Sonata Arctica and I wanted a name that has something in common with the band, and they have a song called Wildfire. So I thought...yeah...Wildfire...they're like...almost unstopable...sounds like a strong name. But then my friend turns around and says...Dude, that's just gay. So...opinions...Yay or gay? Oh...I also noticed there's someone on here called Hellfire...sorry! I wasn't trying to rip you off or anything lol!
  25. My Mom just phoned me and I've received a letter too...didn't have a clue how because I didn't give them my address. Then i realised...my reward card...it has my address on it. So yeah! Wii for me! Wiiiiiiiiii!!!!!
