Ive had another unproductive day apart from getting farther on Super Metroid, got to the guards just before Ridley but died (trying to comlpete it before MP3 comes out). Was gonna go and see Dreadzone play in town but decided not too when I realised I have a 30 page literature review to read and write about by tommorow which I still havent done yet. So im contemplating reading that, playing metroid or watching pans labrynth. Probably do all 3, hopefully.

That is a great album, you should get Badmotorfinger too which is also a great album. Other great "grunge" bands are Pearl Jam, Pixies, Sonic Youth, Smashing Pumpkins and ofcourse Nirvana. If your looking to get into Pearl Jam try albums ten and vs, sonic youth - daydream nation and pixies doolittle and surfer rosa. My fave pumpkins album is probably gish their first album which is fuckin ace.

I was feeling ill on sunday so decided to have the day off uni on monday and I literally slept till about 12.30 and played Super Metroid most of the day and then watched Being John Malcovich which was an excellent but fucked up film at the same time.

yeh i bought Games TM today because the review for MP3 seemed more in depth than the Edge one even though I still regard Edge as the best games mag out there. Edge reviewed Metroid as 7, the same score they gave that new john woo game, have no idea what its like but Prime 3 surely has to be the superior game? There is also a good retro piece on Metroid Prime, probably the best Cube game, if only I hadn't lost the disc.

thought id post a new thread for posting jokes of the sick variety. So a guy is in the pub talking to his mates about this girl he met the other night. He was walking home from work and decided to take a shortcut via the railway line. Whilst he was walking he spots a girl tied to the railway line. He goes over and attempts to chat her up........5 minutes later and bobs yer uncle theyre having sex. Anyway he's telling all this to his mates in the pub and his mate asks him, "well did she give you a blowjob or what?!"........."nah sorry mate I wanted her to but she didn't have a head."

yeh, so glad I bought this game, £25 quid from gameplay and its great fun.

Yeh you can't just label 50 cent and eminem as rap when these are just the mainstream bollocks that the industry markets. Listen to some Dilated peoples, roots, roots manuva, J5, beasties etc. These are good hip-hop artists. And kids are going to get influences wherever, have you stopped to think that some hip-hop might actually give some kids inspiration to do good in their lives rather than act violently, the media isnt going to pick up on this however.

i bought it a while ago second hand, played it a bit and kinda got bored. Was hoping for a Zelda game in Starfox universe but couldnt get into it.

Hargreaves is a class player, and from what ive seen of nani and anderson they look very promising. Tevez also single handedly kept West Ham up last season, you can hardly say that Liverpool havent bought shit players in the past, bellamy, kromkamp, crouch, cisse. You still havent got the squad to be able to mount a challenge to win the premiership, its gonna be between Utd and Chelsea again.

Oh, we've spent money on shit players have we? Well maybe Liverpool should spend money on shit players and then maybe they might actually win the league for the first time since 1990. And Heinze is hardly shit, hes a great aggressive player who perhaps hasnt been as good as he has been but is still a class left back.

For some reason I never bought MKDD for the CUBE but i recently purchased it, and one drunk night a made a bet with someone that id beat them for £20 and the loser has to walk down the street in a thong. I should win but was wondering if any of you have any tips, eg best characters, karts etc.

Is it me or does anyone ever sometimes really get into a game before it comes out, ie reads about it watches clips, talks about it and then when it comes out its not as good as you thought it was going to be. I seem to like anticiptaitng when I get a game and then once youve got it its not as good.

I bought a 2wire adsl router model 2700hg-b a few weeks ago but it doesn;t seem to work well on strikers, it disconnects pretty much every time. Just wondered what everyone else is using for their connection?

im working back at my usual summer job, working in a pub/hotel place. £6 an hour working in the kitchen and waitressing and £7 working in the bar, plus get lots of free food and tips etc so it aint too bad really.

few bands on the new lineup im looking forward to, Living End are a pretty cool band, theyre first two albums are ace not sure bout rest tho. Also !!! are real good, they supported Chili Peppers last year, check out the song Myth Takes. Mad caddies and Capdown will be good too, also would like to see Unkle but they're on same time as RHCP.

ive done my theory and started driving end of last summer, had a few then went back to uni, did some when i was back for christmas and when i was back for easter. Hoping to pass this summer. Im driving in a Honda Jazz

Anyone here learning to drive, thought we could post suggestions or tips to help pass easily. What car do you use to learn in etc, how many lessons it took you to pass if already passed.

I think it was either Super Mario Land on the Gameboy or Mario Allstars on the SNES, playing Mario Allstars was the one that made me want to get a SNES so much.
