  1. The title of the music and the music itself doesn't fit at all. Meta Knight's Revenge sounds dark and the music is, with Sakurai's own words: "peppy". It doesn't fit the theme of the Halbard-stage at all. Oh well, music options FTW!
  2. It's been a rather boring week update-vise. It's Meta Knight's speciel moves today. However, one thing struck me: "This is a move you use to glide. It’s kind of like Kirby’s wing ability." Kirby's wing ability?? Is this his B-up in Melee? He doesn't glide with this move.
  3. Snake's taunt is pure genious! Haha! And ZSS's seems kinda hot. ^^ Also, Link's swirling and sheathing was really cool in TP, I like that they added this one. However, what is his down taunt?
  4. Lucas actually seems fine, however, I probably won't use him much as he seems to have the same recovering ability as Ness had, and I didn't like that. Too complicated. Also, this means Ness won't return, I guess: "There’s a character named Ness who has appeared in the Smash Bros. series up until now, and Lucas is very similar."
  5. 5-10 seconds is too long. 2 seconds max. However, I like the latter idea the best. Upon grabbing the clock, everything went down to 1/2 the normal pace. I think this would be cooler.
  6. My right hand hurts after playing this game intensly for a couple of hours. Nintendo should have made the Wii-mote a bit more ergonomical.
  7. Had anybody thought of this feature prior to today? It had never occured to me that it might be in the game. This is nice.
  8. I definately hope that, as I'm going! It would be great. I might even want to miss my niece's.. forgot the word but it's the ceremony where a child gets water in its face, ish. XD But I guess Nintendo is poorly represented as always here in Denmark.
  9. I think I'll go for Pit as well; I like the fact that he can fly, which means he can recover from far away. That is a feature, I really like. In Melee I used Mewtwo because of his jumping and throwing abilities, although some of his air attacks are pretty strong. I hope the same goes with Pit.
  10. With the Wii-mote only setup, is it anywhere explained how to grab? You throw items with '-'. So you think you grab with '+'?
  11. Nice. Well, I almost died from anticipacing when I saw those trailers. They look så sweet! I do hope that Sonic has far better jumping capabilities than Fox had (has?); if he has, I will be using Sonic I guess. We know at least one special move: The roll, like Yoshi's egg roll and Jigglypuff's... mad roll. Hah. But it sems that Sonic can do it on the spot (in the clip he pushed Donkey Kong away with the roll.) It might also seem that he has a kick-attack from mid-air like Falcon and Ganondorf, right? He made it on Pit's stage in his trailer. I can't wait for impressions of the game when people have tried it!
  12. So.. Sonic's now confirmed with a character update. That's great! Can't wait to see the videos tonight. Yay!
  13. I was wondering... do the enemies get sucked into the cauldron or how do they get in there? It certainly isn't very big, so if you don't want to get into it it shouldn't be a problem avoiding it, should it now?
  14. No, that is apparently her down-smash move, i.e. a smash move.
  15. People should see online matches as a way to get better at the game. In Melee, there is no way to get really good at it if there's no one around playing with you. The CPU just isn't hard enough (or intelligent enough). Therefore, online battles are great, and I really like this update. Now I can even pretend to have friends. XD
  16. Gannondorf up+B at Peach. That was a good one. XD
  17. Painted it brown of unknown purposes, I reckon. Nice to see this update. But of course Classic mode will be in the game, there is no way they can make a fighting game without a fighting single-player experience like Classic Mode. Event Mode was a bitch at times, but still enjoyable.
  18. It's a new game. How about, let me see.. you try using a new character? That reminds me of Batman. XD
  19. Humans have a habit of recognising shapes and figures in just about anything. It's a brain thing, nothing more. It happened with World Trade Center too: People "saw" Satan in the clouds. The same goes with sound, by the way. (Play a song backwards and think it has a secret meaning.) If we are told, we will almost certainly believe it. On-topic: Very mysterious update indeed.
  20. I didn't quite like that medley, tbh. It was as if the different tunes didn't fit together, which makes sense as they were seperate in the game, each with their own speed and such. Also, some of the sounds didn't fit into the medley, too high-pitched or something like that. Still, it gave me goosebumps from listening to it.
  21. Oh, ffs, I have never said that every level looked the same, I implied that the levels so far shown look the same. Geez. I guess one should have to spell out completely what one means, as people cannot think for themselves on these boards or at least take things way to literally. Besides, in Melee there were not two levels that looked like each other, if I remember correctly. They were varied with obstacles in the way and such. Except the orignal Smash Bros stages, they were very alike.
  22. Oh, come on! Except from changing environment, the levels are completely similar! Where is the diversity?!
  23. God, I hate it when computer game characters make me horny, but look at that arse! So.. tight... >_< Erm. Sheik's and Zelda's fighting styles were completely different, but they were not seperate characters? However, I do think that Zero Suit Samus and Regular Samus are seperate characters as Zelda used magic to change. How should Samus be able to change quickly and without leaving her armor lying somewhere on the battle field?
  24. That stage looks too small and a bit boring. Hmm.
