Because what a frail Grass type needs is even MORE weaknesses! Sure, it loses the Fire Weakness, but it's got Dragon and Fairy to worry about! (And the aforementioned Ice double weakness) Hell, I wouldn't even need to use an Ice Pokemon to take it down. Any decent Ice move is going to totally own it. And with Poison moves actually being not complete crap, Sceptile is going to have a hard time here. And it doesn't even gain any new resistances. It just doubles resistance to Water, Electric and Grass. Big woop... Dragon typing was the last thing Sceptile needed. (Although it's nice to finally have a Grass/Dragon)

Geez... This place got feral while I was away... That's my only issue with it as well. I know loads of people are getting disconnection issues, but I guess I've been lucky. I happen to think MK8 is among my favourite Mario Karts. Then again, I'm the kind of guy who thinks the original is one of the worst. There's a point in that game where computers just make it so unfun. You think they cheat now, but it's nothing compared to that. (I honestly don't understand the rage going on with Mushrooms, it's making me think that you guys aren't using them properly. I've overtaken about 5 dudes online from cutting corners with that. It's knowing when to use them and when to save them.)

I've always thought Sceptile was underwhelming, period. So lame compared to Grovyle... Mega Swampert is so bloody hilarious! Like, Mega Manectric levels of hilarious! Definitely choosing Mudkip this time. Despite Grovyle being my favourite Grass Pokemon.

Congratulations! You beat Mirror Mode!

Speak for yourself. If this was real. I'd be all over this. I'd take it over another NSMB game any day. (I'm assuming it'd be a lot like Warioware: DIY with Mario levels)

I tend to take anything pre-e3 with a humongous pinch of salt.

Pleeease buy my new C.D!

Bloody hell! They did not waste any time! Just when you think this couldn't become more of a thing.

Oh my daze! I spat Lucozade out a bit there. Damn you!

Oi! Speak for yourself. Diamond and Pearl have aged really badly after 5th and 6th gen. I don't think I'd shell out for those. Still, Brain Training for free I would get behind. Bet we won't get it here.

I can not wait to see some of the highlights from the league tomorrow. If there isn't some comedy gold in there, I'll be amazed.
-
Oh, never mind then. The visual effect must have been covering the stripe. Darn you, visual effect...

DK does it now and again. Although mostly he just looks like he's in love with everyone.

I know this is really nitpicky, but... I'm 95% certain that's not the Boomerang from the Mario Series. I'm sure it's a different design.

Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy Curtain Call (3DS)
Glen-i replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
September 19th? It's happening! IT'S HAPPENING! -
I've been doing that since 64... I think you might be the only one here who is annoyed by this.

I don't think I could get away with that really with this game. It feels kinda like playing someone else's Animal Crossing.
-
I would if I had the money. But I don't have the money...

OK, I need to know. What is that GIF from? I want to know why this exists.

Got a good kick out of this. Luigi has one epic glare, never noticed that.

#13 - N-Europe: Let's Talk Games (Super Smash Bros. Melee)
Glen-i replied to Fused King's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I've got... mixed opinions about the game. Now, don't get me wrong. The game is sublime. The best multiplayer game on the Gamecube. But, I prefer Brawl. I realise that as far as minorities go, that's up there with people who like Other M (Fun game, even if it's completely dumb), but hear me out. I'm the kind of guy who plays Smash Bros with items on and stages on random. Sure, the best players out there would crucify me for that. But the whole hardcore style of Smash makes me want to fall into a coma. I like infinite air dodges. I like the floatiness of jumps. I like tripping! No, I'm not defending it, I'm OK with it being gone, but some hilarious moments have come out of that. I like Subspace Emissary. I like the chaotic randomness! Melee just feels like it's aged to me. (Also, the rabid fanbase it has doesn't help...) It's a fine game, but whenever I'm asked to play Melee, all I want to say is "Can't we just play Brawl?" Yeah, Melee is fantastic. But Brawl is more fantastic. (Also, Mewtwo, while cool, was rubbish in the game) -
I think Project M may have blinded you a bit there. You have to take into account what we haven't been shown. I doubt those are the only 2 layouts. If this is a Battlefield stage, then Spear Pillar might as well be Final Destination.

So I've three starred everything now. With the Wii Wheel. It somehow controls even better than it did on Wii! No idea how that happened. You can bet I'm using motion controls throughout the league! And I'll let everyone know it. I'm gonna come out and say it, I don't miss the Mini-Map one bit. I found it pretty useless in almost every Mario Kart. (Apart from DS and 7, when I'd only use it when hit by a blooper) I absolutely ADORE the one item limit. Balances the game quite a bit and I'm really hoping it becomes the standard for the series. Battle Mode sucks, but that was to be expected. As for the stages, I think the new stages are impeccable. Even the first track is fun. That anti-gravity! Retro stages are... an odd selection, the poor GBA got ridiculously ignored. Mario Circuit, as cool as the changes are, is not what I would have picked out of the stages that haven't been remade. (Still no Ribbon Road...) And I have to ask this, is it just me, or does weight actually affect how far you can glide? I'm sure that didn't happen in 7...

Mii, baby! Best character in the game! That voice is freaking hilarious! (Although, in Grand Prix, I'm using every character once to get those stamps. Then it's all Mii, Mii, Mii, Mii, Mii!)

OK, great! So I take it everyone who enters will be adding a few FC's?
