Huh? There's no option for people to just get the characters for the WiiU version only? Not that it affects me, I'm getting the 3DS only pack, but it seems weird that those who only want the DLC for WiiU will end up being charged more for less content. (Seeing as the WiiU version won't get the new Adventure maps) Although if it includes the characters from the 3DS version as well, then maybe that'll explain it.

Yep, completely normal for the GBA version. Not in the SNES version.
-
Yep, pretty much what I'd thought it'd be. Utter garbage. I've said it before, but I really don't like the path Pokemon Company is going. It's leaving a bad taste in my mouth. Hey, at least Mystery Dungeon is still entertaining me for hours on end. 5 more Pokemon to go!

But Link already has Bow Wow as a weapon... I'm still clinging on to hope that it somehow includes the Oracle games and Ricky finally gets to punch Link in the face. That said, I would not be upset if it is Marin and Bow Wow. Still getting the 3DS Version, I want those extra stages and the character switching. Also, there's only so long I can mooch @Dcubed's copy of the game.

Wait, in the Japanese version, the characters were never happy with the choice you made? Yeah, European way is better. Anyway, just finished Chapter 4.

Costumes for the fairies you can use in the 3DS only "My Fairy" feature. Still, that's pretty much the same amount of content as the WiiU season pass! Awesome! And they're actually acknowledging the 2D Zelda's this time! Fantastic! Time for character/weapon predictions! Link's awakening pack has me stumped over what character it'll introduce. Marin? Not quite sure what she would use as a weapon though... I'm secretly hoping it actually covers the oracle games as well and we get Ricky. This is it! It's now or never! As for Linkle's weapon, well... Roc's Feather? Nah, that's silly. How about the Cane of Somaria? Was that in Link's Awakening? Wouldn't mind fighting with the power of blocks. PH/SS pack's new character? My money's on Linebeck. But maybe that's too obvious? I suppose Phantom Zelda is another possibility... No wait, a weapon for Toon Link? Then my guess is the Phantom. Kinda funny, the prospect of Link's weapon being Zelda herself. As for the LBW Pack (Hah! I totally called it @Dcubed!), two characters will obviously be either Ravio, Hilda or Yuga. It's too obvious not to do! Trust me, it gets a lot better. Especially on the harder levels. It's actually more of a management game than a button basher. But you'll never see that from the first level. Anyone who played WiiU's adventure mode can tell you that it's all about staying in control of the battlefield.

OK, seriously. The league needs to disband after that 2nd GP. HOW THE HELL DID @Dcubed WIN BY 7 POINTS!? Felt positively sick when that happened. Other than that, good night! BTW, Sorry for my lateness, you can blame DCubed for that. Literally left me with 2 minutes to set up my WiiU and start Mario Kart...

Oh, I never knew this. Ignore my previous post then, I was ignorant, I apologise.
-
EDIT: Never mind, ignore everything I said in this post.

I'll take that slightly worrying sentence as a yes then? Cool beans! I pretty much agree with @Dcubed, the game is great fun... in multiplayer. The single player experience, on the other hand, is pretty much what I thought this game would be, repetitive and lacking any real substance. If you've got friends to play this with, go for it! It's a right laugh! And if you're the kind of guy who likes playing people online on arcade fighters, then it's worth a look. But if you're hoping for a decent amount of single player stuff to do, steer clear. BTW, my favourite character is Sceptile, and I completely suck at this game! @Ugh first aid picked up the game for the first time and creamed me 11 to 4. Oh snap! Game Freak will need some Burn Heal after that! (I am assuming you're referring to GF, right?)

Those stealth name changes... Good show! I'll be in!
-
Oh goodie! Embargo's up, so I take it I can finally talk about the game?
-
I've started playing this as well. Chapter 3 now. Battle System's still an utter joy to play. The Bosses are still the star of the show, each one always has a certain gimmick to it, which keeps each boss fight feeling fresh. (Well, except for the returning asterisk holders from Bravely Default, but that's to be expected)

Colors! 3D - THE DS homebrew application comes to the eStore
Glen-i replied to Burny's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Ever since I got Pokemon Art Academy, this has taken a back seat. But I still use it to draw rough sketches, thanks to the five layers, Which PAA lacks. I then transfer it to Poke Art Academy and use the healthy amount of tools to draw a final version. So yes, I still use it, but as a first step, rather than for the whole process. -
Uhhh... I think you meant Super Mario Advance 2? Super Mario Advance 3 is Yoshi's Island. The Yoshi coins were in the SNES game, but it never kept track of the levels you managed to collect them all in. It also adds Luigi and his floaty jump, a save-anywhere feature along with adding the ability to redo castles and Fortresses without putting in a button input. Out of the 4 Mario Advances, 2 has the least new stuff, but if you've never played Mario World, it's not a bad port, washed-out colours aside.

Someone found a list of 3DS SNES eShop titles for Japan. Mario RPG wasn't on that list. That doesn't mean it's not happening, for all we know, it could come out next month. But don't get your hopes up for a quick release.

Ehhh... That was a mixed night. 1st GP was total karma for last week, after that, it went well. @RedShell, you want a hilariously cruel moment? Seashell Shore, last lap, watch me on the second last corner.

Because of the language options. If a game is text-heavy, then they use the version that has multiple languages.
-
America never got the Japan-only levels, so I'm not sure what you're trying to prove with that first point. The other 2 are fair enough, but seeing how NOA/NOJ has put the effort in to modify the ROM to include them, I don't see why NOE wouldn't follow suit. I'm sure they just asked what NOA did and just copied them, provided they weren't just flat-out told to do so.
-
Why was anyone even worried? @Dcubed, you actually jumped on to Miiverse before the game came out and complained? I can't believe I'm saying this. But for this day, you're a Miiverse Dope! Now remember, Final Fantasy 4 came out before Bravely Default, Rosalina existed before Frozen's Elza and don't worry, I won't make any jokes, you wouldn't get them anyway.

The one that has David Wise doing the soundtrack. That's Donkey Kong.

Oh, I forgot to mention one more thing.

I think it's about time this thread got a bump. Seeing as the game has a Famitsu article. It revealed the participants of this game... There's a risk of serious 999/VLR spoilers ahead.
