Nah, it's just not happening tonight. Gonna have to bow out. I was really looking forward to this theme as well...

Aw nuts! I got disconnected. Could someone let me know when GP2 starts?
-
Just when I got the last Heart Container. More proof Ninty are spying on me. I was kinda hoping the level cap would be increased, my Link is Level 99, and I feel like using him now would be a waste... And all the other characters are in the 80's. Looks like I'll be using Medli all the time.

Yeah, it's such a bizarre personality shift. But I've gotten over it, oddly enough. And it's because of Hyrule Warriors. Without that insanity, I don't think he'd be nearly as fun to play as. Every nutty cloud has a hilarious lining.

Ace Attorney 6: Spirit of Justice ( 3DS eShop Sept release )
Glen-i replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Wahey! A date! Dual Destinies was a lot of fun, so I'm looking forward to this. Even if we do completely skip The Grand Ace Attorney... -
Rowlett is neat, not quite as cool as Hoothoot but still neat, Litten is all sorts of lame, (Not as terribad as Fennekin though) Popplio totally wins it for me! The concept is great and unique for Pokemon. You tell me where else I can find a Circus-themed Pokemon. If I didn't just end up using @Ugh first aid to get all three, that's the one I would choose. I can tell you one thing for sure, when I play through this, Litten is getting dumped in the PC immediately. But maybe it'll pull a Chespin and evolve into something awesome... I've got a feeling it won't though. Still miffed about the later release date. I'll have to go on complete internet blackout to avoid the utter loonies who will no doubt plough through the game as quickly as possible and then post it on some Pokemon site I might visit every now and again. No, but you still get a nice triangle with Flying>Fighting>Ice. It's actually better than Dark>Psychic>Fighting because there's no outright immunities.

That's one cosmic theme! I love it! I am most certainly IN!

You're completely right.

It has the most yucky looking Diddy ever seen in video game history, but OK, sure, it has Diddy. Yeah, I'm griping, I know. And I know they're just skins, but Diddy's too tall, Bowser's too small, Bowser Jr. is the same bloody size as his dad, which is all sorts of wrong and that's before we get to some of the faces of the characters... This Petey needs to die... By fire.

I dunno, it just kinda makes me cringe a bit, kinda like those disgusting Pokemon Toy designs Ambrella keep shoving in my face. My inner artist just screams in agony at the aesthetics... Either way, good on them for putting some effort into this version. Although I bet they still haven't got an inventory screen on the Gamepad.

Nope, the game uses the Wii Remote's pointer. Also, unless you have at least 1 friend to play with, the game gets a tad boring and repetitive.

This one has been a long time coming... You must have JavaScript enabled on your device to view Miiverse posts that have been embedded in a website. View post in Miiverse Hyrule Warriors Legends is a 3DS port of the absolutely brilliant WiiU game Hyrule Warriors. Yes, a 3DS port of a WiiU game. It came out 2 months ago in March. In case you don't know somehow, Hyrule Warriors is a spin-off Zelda game that is basically a crossover of Zelda and Dynasty Warriors. The gameplay is Dynasty Warriors with a Zelda flair while the setting is all Zelda. The 3DS port includes almost all of the content of the WiiU version, including the DLC along with quite a bit of new content. The object of the game is to help your Hyrulean army to victory by driving back enemy forces using a smorgasbord of past Zelda characters (With a few characters created specifically for this game). At first glance, the game just looks like a boring hack and slash kind of game. And it is, at first. But delve a little deeper and you'l soon discover that this is not a game of button mashing, this is a game of time management. Your army is always woefully unprepared for every battle, and you have to turn the tables by using your playable character smartly. If you just go around killing every enemy you see with no concrete goal, you're gonna lose, and you're gonna lose often. In order to do well, you have to recognise what the biggest threat is and take care of it as quickly as you can. Should you focus on that bothersome enemy commander? Or maybe you should fortify your defenses by capturing keeps nearby and work your way outwards. Some of the later stages can get very intense as the game throws all sorts of problems at you, forcing you to pick and choose what you need to do and what order it needs to be done in. The 3DS version adds a few new mechanics, but the most obvious one would be the ability to switch between multiple playable characters on the fly. Simply touch a character's face and you instantly assume control of them. This adds a new element to the game and can open up all sorts of new strategies. Careful though, if a single one of those characters loses all their health, it's an instant game over. Seeing as how the AI will get themselves hurt, you need to pay attention. You must have JavaScript enabled on your device to view Miiverse posts that have been embedded in a website. View post in Miiverse The game has two main modes, Legend Mode and Adventure Mode. Legend Mode is the main story mode that has 32 scenarios to fight through. (9 more than the WiiU version) Yes, the game has a story. It's just an excuse to get loads of characters from different Zelda games together really, and that's just fine.

Hah! Great minds think alike! @Dcubed and I may have had a similar idea... You must have JavaScript enabled on your device to view Miiverse posts that have been embedded in a website. View post in Miiverse

I'll be getting it next week when I get paid.

It's really frowned upon. And who actually wants to spend every corner mashing the R Button anyway? You know @RedShell, you were almost my "Mortal Enemy of the Week" (because I have those in Mario Kart) after hitting me three times with the same Fire Flower. (Total Overkill, by the way) But then @Dcubed decided to CONSTANTLY HARASS ME THROUGHOUT GP3 Overtaken out of 1st on Grumble Volcano by a surprise Bullet Bill? DCubed. Shunted into lava shortly afterwards? DCubed. I get hit by Lightning on the last lap of Grumble Volcano. Oh, but look who just happened to have a star to cruise into 1st? It's DCubed. Who keeps hitting me throughout Koopa City and gazumped me right at the end? Oh what a shock, DCubed. Well, I'm 10th after the first lap on Bowser's Castle. But at least I'm relatively safe... OH! WAIT! 11th place just shot a green shell right at me. It better not be... BUT OF COURSE! IT'S D-BLOODY-CUBED Just because I won on Mario Party 7 today, you jerk!

Yes carry on, I got that win fair and square!

I dunno. Something about tonight has got me feeling apprehensive. Oh well, time to get to work everyone! Nah, nippy it ain't. Can't go breaking those speed limits! It's got great grip though. Should be interesting.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch

For once, I actually agree with you. My E3 hype just got shot in the face. Now I just don't care. Understandable, but what's stopping them from showing off some future 3DS/WiiU titles? 3DS does have a pretty great lineup coming up after all. -

Don't you think they would have mentioned a digital event if there was one? It would be weird to not mention one. They always have done in the past. -

I'm too annoyed that it's looking like there'll be no digital event at all this E3 to be hyped. I don't want to have a day of things spoiling Zelda, I know I'm getting it already. -
Good read, you actually managed to rekindle my need for this game a bit. Conquest sounds scary, sticking with Casual all the way through! I do have one question though, those voice clips that play throughout conversations, can you turn them off in the options like you could in Awakening? Because those were insanely irritating.

Yep, I'm in. Can't miss that morning commute!

Just watched through the Crazy Smash stream again. Giggling like a nutcase. I think I may have pinpointed "Where am I going!? This ball is dangerous!" @Ugh first aid laughing so hard, it starts to become actually painful. Not to mention, my audible "ACK!" as I clip through the platform and land in the cannon, only to shoot myself right into @RedShell's face! Seriously, if you're reading this and not watching those videos, you're missing out!

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch

You know what it's like. Doesn't matter how good someone is at their job, one negative outcome, and none of it matters anymore. I still think Sticker Star is decent. He's not the only one.
