  1. Big Nintendo titles almost never go down in value. Definitely not quickly. This isn't anything new. Add to that the fact that Switch has been quite successful and it's even less likely to drop prices. You're just gonna have to suck it up, unfortunately.
  2. @RedShell is this week's "Player who made no bloody difference" and yet he also is the first player to break 10 2nd GP placings. Well done! A strangely decent amount of place switching considering how late we are into the first half of the league. Next League Night: 24th May 8pm Room 1 @BowserBasher is host @Glen-i @BowserBasher @viceview51 Sign up Now!
  3. Highlights of @Dcubed (Left Screen) With a little bit of @S.C.G Highlights of me (Right Screen) Double Screen Moment
  4. For anyone interested, here's a list of all the changes from the previous versions.
  5. I know, I'm way too subtle.
  6. Right now, I'd actually legit rather play this Wii port.
  7. You really wanted to bump this thread, huh? I don't blame you.

  9. The fact that @Dcubed's "Mobile Generation" theory is even remotely feasible is downright depressing. And a few days ago, I was worried about being able to battle online. "Oh, it's alright, you can piggyback off of @Dcubed's family subscription. But now Pokémon's at risk of dumbing itself down for people who haven't actually played Pokémon in years."
  10. I'm gonna guess the blatant Gen 1 pandering, it utilising the lame capture mechanics of GO. Also that image above is actually a step backward from Sun/Moon, as it appears to be reverting back to the flat tile system that Pearl/Diamond had. Black/White, a DS game, had more dynamic geography than that at times. (Which is why I'm sure it's fake) Also, those titles would imply that Pikachu and Eevee are the starting Pokémon. Can you get a lamer choice? If that's the case, who would ever choose Pikachu? You could have a Pokémon that's stuck as an Electric type, or a Pokémon that can evolve into 8 different types. It's a stupid, lopsided choice.
  11. Mystery Dungeon called, it wants it's naming format back.
  12. You sure you didn't intercept my suggested titles letter? The only good thing that could possibly come from Pokémon GO is if it causes a revival of the Pokewalker. Anything else that game does would be pretty unacceptable in a mainline title in my eyes.
  13. "I can't hold all these Biffs!" I'm gonna have to think of some new customised shout outs. I have too much fun thinking them up. Specially nice that you can tie one to each hunter art, effectively letting you do a dramatic special move shout! And just so you know, the Japanese version supports the Switch capture feature. So chances are, it'll be available. Even if it is too late to catch that one moment when @S.C.G got hit by a really powerful attack that sends you flying and he happened to fly right into my camera and the 3D effect was on, so it looked even funnier. Fits of laughter caused me to lose concentration and get killed shortly after. Totally worth it.
  14. That would just be a needless risk. Why bother putting the effort into making a moveset that a character may not even fit? Might as well just go with a different character. It's not like FE is lacking there. For what it's worth, I actually decided to go with FE Switch protagonist in my prediction entry on the other thread. (Still time to get your guesses in) I was torn between that and Lyn. But I'm not entirely certain on it. It all depends on whether Intelligent Systems let Sakurai have a sneaky peek. And while we're on Fire Emblem characters. The most popular FE character according to the kids (age range is 8-15 and none have any real idea what FE even is) I play Smash 4 with weekly is easily Corrin. It's not even close. Robin is a distant second. Anecdotal as hell, I know. But I always found that interesting.
  15. No, but it's how most characters are usually planned. The likes of Greninja and Sonic are the weird outliers, not the norm. Hell, Sakurai actually sorta planned for Greninja before he knew it existed. He wanted a Pokémon from Gen 6 quite early and gravitated towards Froggy Ninja when he saw the designs.
  16. @S.C.G, @Ugh first aid and I had many, many hunting sessions, (half of them probably involving Astalos) on the 3DS version and while I can't speak for S.C.G on this version. Ugh First Aid and I are really keen on jumping back and carrying on with our files. We'd be happy to help you (or anyone else on N-Europe) knock out any quests you want to catch up to HR (and maybe move on to G-Rank).
  17. The only issue is the much touted design document, which was likely finalised some time around 2016. That's when almost all of the characters were probably decided upon. That would mean that Sakurai would have to have gotten details about Fire Emblem Switch around 3 years in advance, and somehow, I don't think it's that likely. Possible. After all, Greninja in 4 and Sonic in Brawl were very late additions. But I wouldn't get your hopes up. Totally in for DLC though.
  18. This is good news. I was a bit concerned when he started getting hand injuries.
  19. Honedge confirmed!
  20. I'm generally curious as to how Fire Emblem will be handled for Smash.
  21. The UK's performance can be summed up quite well. "Hooray, we didn't come last! What an achievement!"
  22. Subtle.
  23. This new scoring system is amazing. No-one but Cyprus though. EDIT: I'm OK with Israel. In the better half for sure.
  24. I vote to kick Greece out after that insanely dated joke.
