Absolutely, contrary to forum room echo chambers, a lot of people actually like a lot of Pokémon from times after the 90's. And Game Freak would have to be absolutely idiotic to ignore that. The sheer amount of customisation all of those Pokémon bring to team building is a massive selling point to the more competitive player. Remove that and that would put off a lot of people. I truly believe the biggest reason why some people refuse to even acknowledge Pokémon games from the GBA games onward was because they weren't able to transfer their Pokemon from Gold/Silver to Ruby/Sapphire.

Definitely my favourite of the 4 weapons! If anyone hasn't gotten the 2 superbonuses from this Salmon Run yet, I highly recommend going for it. Easy Loot for hilariously fun gameplay. That wasn't even our best performance... Here's a couple moments. It says a lot that throwing a bomb at Maws is normally not worth the hassle this time. The blaster can kill it in 2 cycles. I hope this OP Weapons version of Salmon Run becomes a regular thing. It feels so cathartic mowing through these tough enemies. I also hope that there's a Grizzco version of every type of weapon. I want a roller that goes at three times the speed and flicks as far as a Flingza Roller!

You gotta wonder why Mr. Grizzco doesn't just have his employees use these weapons all the time... They clearly get good results. I noticed one wave, 3 people had the bucket while the other had the charger. That was funny. It's amazing that the weapons are so broken that even the charger is fun for me to use.

I can't play Lumines for too long because it starts to give me a headache after a while. I'm also rubbish at these kinds of games. It's certainly a spectacle though.

Well, this is even more up your street then. Because BP builds up every turn. You don't need to defend. Also, every character has a set job that they can't change, so you don't have to give as much thought to how you set stuff up. Only the second job can be tweaked. My strategy so far has consisted of mostly hitting weaknesses until I deplete their shield points, than using all my BP and whacking them really hard. It's a simple tactic.

Yeah, I wiped out against a boss, went to grind some new armour for my team and effectively halved the damage I was taking. Not to mention the Job Points you get which unlock new abilities that help each character perform better. EXP, Money and JP all combine together to allow you to plow through bosses. Now don't get me wrong. You're gonna have to exploit weaknesses. The entire system is built around it, what with the Break and Boost mechanic. Kinda like how you had to use Brave and Default in the Bravely games.

Heads up guys. There's an easy couple of Superbonuses for Salmon Run today. The weapon selection is a bunch of ridiculously overpowered weapons that genuinely feel like you're hacking the game. It's amazingly fun. Me and some of the community centre kids played a few rounds and we got 29 golden eggs in one wave once before more showed up and we played Smash. Would anyone like to group up with me for a couple of hours at around 5-ish?

You can totally grind to victory if you want. Not sure why people are saying that... What people don't seem to realise is that it's not just the EXP you get that gets you through, it's the money. Grinding money to buy better gear will get you far. Equipment makes a massive difference in this game.

Like the tweet says, I've just started Chapter 2, about to begin Primrose's section there. I've spent over 22 hours playing this so far. I'm in love with this game! It gets so many notes right. The visuals are stunning, the music is gorgeous, the voice acting is great and the gameplay is absolute top-notch. I've got access to secondary jobs now and I'm getting some intense Bravely Default possibilities here. I'm sure you can use the passive abilities to make some truly ridiculous setups later. That will be fun. Wonder if anything will be as broken as the Infinite Jump team from Bravely... I really like how grounded the stories are so far. A lot of RPG's these days go full on epic and it's nice to have a bunch of characters with more realistic aspirations this time. I'm fully expecting to end up fighting a God in the end or aliens or robots or a mixture of all three, but for now. It's great.

These don't take the Random Task Results into mind. Wow, that was a hectic night! Scores were all over the place throughout! @martinist and @nekunando rejoin the league, one had a more lengthy absence than the other, sure. But it still counts. A big welcome to newest N-E member @Gourmet / Esperpento, who despite having WiFi issues up the wazzoo, scored a 3rd place in the 3rd GP and shoves himself into 2nd place. Let's see if he can maintain it though. Out of the 8 people who took on the "Captain Toad's Ultimate Exploration" Random Task, 7 of you passed. However, @martinist is our first casualty of the Random Task, when he went through the Cave twice. Of particular note, @Gourmet / Esperpento still pulled it off, despite the disconnection he had immediately after taking his 3rd choice. I moved your bonus points to the 3rd GP. A few highlights from me.

I'm currently downloading it myself. Can't wait! Dunno who I'll pick first. Might go for the Cleric. Not enough RPG's where the Healer is the main character. Well, except the Mother series. Anyway, I'll be interested in hearing your thoughts. Just keep the story related stuff in Spoiler tags.

While I would be absolutely ecstatic over more tracks and characters, I'm gonna remain on the more pessimistic side of things. Don't wanna get my hopes up.
