  1. Really? My local Xtra-Vision sells it for €13, which is even less in Pounds. The new cover looks incredibly dull. It doesn't look "cool" or anything. It looks lifeless. It does have some improvements, like not having people staring at you when you buy an issue with Pokémon on the front. But, come on, does it really look all that great? Doesn't look "mature", unless by mature, you mean "boring". Other then that, I don't see many reasons to complain, I just hope the content doesn't try to be too professional. Professional is good, but when they over do it, it just makes you want to look at the score and nothing else. Add a bit of "fun", as you could put it. Of course, haven't read it, so I'm just guessing here. I'll have to see if the shop will have it first of all, then I'll pay €7 for it. (Which is slightly insane I think). Of course, even I don't like it, I'll probably pick it up again around E3.
  2. It'll probably come out around the same time as Revolution does simply because Nintendo see money in it. I'm pretty sure that's what they're doing with Animal Crossing here in Europe. If you put that aside, there's translation and if it's a world-wide release, the worldwide date will be longer due to translations to match Europe. Which I think is all very silly. Translation should be written right after the script is written instead of "Finish game, then translate, it should be "Translate along with progress". It may be a little bundled but it would save a lot of time. I'd say most of the extra work is nearly finished if not finished by now, so with translations, June is plausable, but with Profit, Revolution's launch seems to be more likely. <=(
  3. Heh. I can't really understand this stuff about "wow" graphics. To be honest, Twilight Princess, I wasn't all that amazed at the graphics. The 360 isn't that impressive either. Graphics just aren't something that make me say "wow". More like "Heh, pretty good". Reminds me of my friend, who everytime he sees, is playing or is talking about a game, he says "Woah, look at the graphics at that!". I think he ignores me whenever I say "Whatever, graphics don't make it that great". I don't think he likes my DS because of the graphics. He thinks Xbox 360 is amazing because of the graphics. Urgh, I would easily accept GC Graphics on the Revolution to be honest, though a lot of people won't. Once it's fun to play, I'll like it.
  4. I didn't expect much, but I'm glad to hear there'll be voice chat in Hunters, though, not during the game? That's not that fun, I prfer to be saying "FFS! TEH 1337 H4XX0RZ!!!1!" while playing. Nothing that great, maybe we'll see something at the next event. I don't know when that is, but it's 3 months and a bit at the most, right? =D
  5. Well, for teams, I'd like there to be numbers OR colours, as in a choice. I don't like having to choose a colour for a certain team, so I think using Team 1, 2, 3, 4 etc. would be much more effective. To be honest, I think Diddy Kong would be an interesting character, garb people with his tail or jump on their head. I'd just like to see him used. I'd imagine the controller would be used for movement, and the analog attachment being used with the a and b buttons on the face of the controller. Z1 and Z2 could be used as B and A maybe? Just thinking. Also, the trigger for grab attacks. I don't know. Dr. Mario doesn't need to be in it, replace him with Wario and I'll be happy. Another thing I don't like is "Young" Link. Make the Younger version be called "Link" and an older version called "Adult Link". Heh, just that Link is usually a kid and all, I'd prefer to see him more that way. A few more F-Zero characters here and there would be nice, I'd find it interesting. Don't forget to make Ganon(dorf) a unique character who can possibly change into his Pig Demon form. Online Play, well, first, it should have a Profile, that's something like: *Opens up. **When Online Name: Fav. Character: Battle record* Status: --Options** ---Challenge (1v1), Invite to game (1v1+) Chat, Invite to conversation, Basically, you should see who is online, choose who you challenge one on one, invite them to join a game with a few more friends, chat, and invite them to already active chats. Heh.
  6. I'd love to go, but problems are: 1. Too young, heh, maybe in 2010. Heh. 2. No money 3. No Journalism whatsoever. Heh, such a shame, maybe I'll make a website just so I can go . Heh. I suppose I'll be able to go Next-Generation. If I have the finance, of course, and get invited. I'm sure you'll all tell us how you get on.

If there were Dreamcast downloadables, I would probably get Sonic Adventure 1 and 2. Also, I'd try out a few others. I have a Dreamcast, but I only ever got House of the Dead 2 and played the demo disc. I would also download some of the old 2D Sonic Games, since I enjoyed Sonic Rush, I'd like to give them a try (Sonic Rush being my first 2D Sonic Title, also the only Sonic Game I ever owned, demos don't count).
  8. Well, yeah, an attempt to somewhat resemble the real world you could say. Not exactly an all-out one albeit.
  9. I'd much prefer if the service didn't need to use Friend Codes. Well, maybe, it should be one person adds the friend code or ID to their Buddy List, and you get a message asking if you'd like this person to be on your list and such. Just like MSN. =P It needs to have: See who's Online, No Unique Friend Codes per game, a friend code per account is better! The system should have lobby support, in-game and just online. You should be able to choose who you request a game from, not random picks like they did on MK DS. Downloads should just be free, not buy a game, and get a free download >< What I would like though is using Wi-Fi on the DS through Revolution. Enough of that though. Nothing new really, we'll reveal this and that, but not now, wait a few months. Sounds good, but it's hard to maintain hype when you're not saying anything new, people will lose interest if they don't let out a few spurts in the few months from now to E3.
  10. Fake. Pretty obvious why. Also, for one thing, I'd be pretty annoyed if it was Realistic graphics again, bring back the cel-shading, it's look so much better, and retro. At least in my opinion.
  11. God, I haven't started saving yet. Which I better start doing soon. It's hard for me though, I don't earn anything, as I'm too young to get a job, and don't get any sort of allowance. I plan to save up about €150 at least. I'm probably going to buy it with my brother, so he'll pay €150 too. I might get it for Christmas though, in which case it might be free for me =D.
  12. That doesn't work out so well really. Remember that £'s are worth more then €'s. £165 is probably about €240, which does look pretty comeptitive from my point of view. Also, €240 is a lot of money to me. €200 is reasonably good looking even. Also, remember that £185 is about €270, which for not all that much extra, you can get an Xbox 360 Core System. With the price they have to aim lower then Xbox 360 Core System, but not too low or it'll risk looking like a heap of shit. £165 may not look that great in the UK, but €240 really looks competitive, well, at least from my point of view.
  13. If prices were to be that high, there might be a slight possibility it's to pay for Servers, seeing as it's free to play online, and if they want quality, they may just have to get the money from somewhere. Outrageous prices though, also, this should be in euros. What's that, €14.50 for an N64 Game, I'm not really willing to pay that much for an N64 Game. I'd be disappointed at a €7.20 price for a SNES Games, there's a bundle I want to get from there. It should be €4, tops. I would suppose €240 isn't too bad for a Revolution, but I'd much prefer it to be €200. There's also games to take into consideration, and controllers (which I may just buy an extra two, like I did with Gamecube) If the PS3 Price is correct, the system will probably be about €580, and games nearly €90. The PS3 Price is a bit too outrageous, I don't think Sony would be so insane as to charge that much, especially for games. I'm not going to believe.
  14. I can type pretty fast. Though, I usually look at the keyboard, and then the screen every split second. If you notice any errors in spelling it's because I'm tired, which happens a lot to me. Fumbling all the time. Nobody knows why I can type so fast, but my sister is just brilliant at it, she types essays in a minute or two.
  15. I thought it was stated that the US was to recieve the console first, but myabe not, I don't tend to remember news too well. Probably 2007, as I honestly think they don't really aim to please the European market so much as people like to think they do. I'm hoping for 2006, but hey, they'll probably delay it a bit. Of course, if they're smart, they'll try to have it here before Christmas. If it's not here by Christmas, it'll be here before Easter, when people and so in debt and have some time to spend money. I doubt it'll go anywhere between them. Kind of like Animal Crossing.
  16. It's a fun game, better then what NOM gave it, trust me. It can be loads of fun when you're flying around the city. We also made a game called the "Crazor" in which you get into the vehicle that speeds, but can't turn when moving, and hunt down Kirby when he has no vehicle, it is that Kirby's job to find a vehicle and defeat the crazor. Brilliant fun, especially when you say "Crazor" in an evil sick way. Overall great game , lacks in modes really, and it's a little simple. It wasn't worth the €70 Smyths wanted for it when it first came out though ._.
  17. Speaking of Mario Party, the Revolution controls could be what it needs to put some more fun in the series. Anyway, Paper Mario 2 was simply one of the best game I've ever played. If it has a Revolution sequel, I would pick it up in a second. To be honest, I really believe there was little wrong with it, the only thing I can think of is it was a little tedious. But it's a fairly balanced game. Revolutions controller will be perfect for every move you use, they could involve how you move the controller, like up and down and right timing at such. I'd love lots of Interactivity in a (the) new installment, and I hope it'll beat the standard TTYD set for me.
  18. Yes, that's what I was thinking. Just because the Revoltion will use a different control system, doesn't mean that it's games should be made entirely out of exclusives, if not for the most part exclusives. I'm a little worried that devlopers might not see Revolution as another system to host their Multi-Platform games on. The shell would remain kind of useless if developers are not to bring their Games over on to Revolution as well as 360 and PS3. The shell should allow traditional control, so I see no reason why the developers should just turn away, of course, maybe because no shell is really public, they're holding off on releasing info of a Revolution version of already PS3/Xbox 360 titles. I don't hate exclusives, but they'll need to make sure there's a good portion of Multi-Platformers, or else people will think "This games on 360/PS3, but it's not on Revolution, I guess I'll buy a PS3/Xbox 360".
  19. Based on how people in my area talk about the Next Generation (Or, you could say it's the turnover now), Xbox 360 might ctually come out as a winner. Lately people I know are talking much about Xbox 360, little about PS3, but none of them even know there's a new Nintendo coming out. a sure sign Nintendo will need to hype the Revolution before it's too late, well, from my point of view. I also think it's Xbox' turn to shine, with a possible two generation dominance, and then to Nintendo. PS3 isn't being hyped enough as I would normally expect, at least, where I'm living, people used to be going on about it like crazy, but now, they've forgotten, the 360 has consumed them. But then again, they didn't know it was coming out until about a month before launch. Revolution needs better marketing this time 'round or else nobody will even care. Better hype, much better games, (It appears they've thrown in a few FPS' so far, not "thrown in" as rushed, mind you). Nobody I've showed the controller to thinks it's good. They don't seem to understand what the whole motion sensors thing is. I try to explain, but they're still under the impression that you have to use the A and B buttons and the D-Pad for everything. So they say it looks really awkward and it'll suck. I suppose, if the Rveolution is any good, I'll be giving them a try, and then they'll be able to form an opinion on it. Anyway, more adult appeal, but not too much is also a good key. 'Cube lacked in Adult Appeal, the ads mainly featured the more cartoony titles (Note: I don't really like calling them "kiddy", there just cartoony you might say, what's kiddy can't really be judged. I've seen 8 year olds who love GTA, so GTA is kiddy. Can't really say what's "kiddy"). Most people who don't look into this things and judge by the first thing they see think "Oh man, that looks so uncool and kiddy (=( ), who'd play that". I know Nintedno will take a more adult approach, but they shouldn't go overboard. I still want to have my good ol' non violent, cartoony games. In conclusion: I rambled, bleh! I just say, Nintendo needs to Hype and make the controller look "cool".
  20. It's not like I don't read reviews, it's just that I can't give a crap about NOM's in-depth reviews. Being NOM, it's most likely bias, and the score is usually higher then it deserves. I liked the humour, it was childish and lame, sure, but that's pretty much what made it funny. Also, quite a few letters made me laugh, to be honest, NOM did pick quite a few bad letters over good ones. Seriously, some of them are about nothing really, except "my frend says" or "tendo go m$???!". I do buy magazines for reviews and such, just not NOM, I'll pick up something else up for reviews.
  21. If they start giving out freakin' discs with trailers on them every issue, I won't buy them. I liked NOM for having nice little useful things. The Paper Mario mousemat, the Calendar. That's stuff is useful, I will be really pissed if it's Gameplay footage of upcoming releases. I don't want that, that's crap. I mostly brought NOM for the humour, I really couldn't give a crap about the whole in-depth reviews and such. In fact, I was one who hardly ever read the reviews unless I had already heard good things. They gave some pretty funny captions, even if they were a little childish, still funny. I hope the layout is like NOM's too. Can't stand looking at Cube's to be honest, and Edge, plenty of reading stuff there, but I'm not one to read in the end.
