  1. take that one with a grain of salt.
  2. Officialy its one at the moment and all the gossip and rumours still point to one. The case will have markings for both Revolution and gamecube with both being clearly marked. I don't think though that zelda will be the only game to do this, what about Kirby?
  3. If its good I'll get it. I will have to try the demo.
  4. For the HDD issue using any USB HDD could be possible, Operating systems such as Linux and Unix as well as windows to some degree have pre programmed Generic Drivers, If nintendo write some generic drivers for revolution then you should be able to use any USB HDD, disadvantage is that the acess todrive might not work at full speed. If nintendo do not create some generic drivers then I'm sure someone will come up with a mass storage solution.
  5. http://www.officialnintendomagazine.co.uk/news_310306_tomb.html Well? what do you think. No I know that its not April 1st yet but with April 1st being a saturday some professional sites might start the jokes now as they will not be in the office on saturday. DS I can understand but cube? It's too much of a shock.
  6. problem with Gamecube was that it launched a year after Sony and did not have any real special feature. Revolution has many special features and will launch around about the same time as Sony. I think its silly to compare revolution to Gamecube as the strategy Nintendo is using for the revolution is very different.
  7. Well at least £130 then.
  8. No you don't. PS3 and been nearly fully unveiled. XBox 360 is out!! and you have screens and movies of games running on PS3 but nothing on Revolution why? Because third parties are waiting along with nintendo to show it all at E3. ultrajamie You really need to be patient.
  9. I must admit if those specs from IGN turn out to the final specs (I doubt it) You are looking at a £100 a pop which would be great.
  10. This is not a confiurmation but just a theory. Smackdown Vs Raw 2007 has been announced for PSP, PS2, PS3 and XBox 360 according to IGN. THQ have a new multiformat focus on WWE games now. I think a revolution version is possible using the shell. If true it will probably be announced at E3. It will probably be a Hi Res PS2 port which could use WFC. Question you are asking is Why has it not been anounced then? Answer is that hardly any third party games have been announced for Revo as Nintendo are going for the big splash out at E3 What do you think? How would you like to see WWE done on Revo?
  11. It was going to happen. Tne format has so many disadvantages: 1) Can't use UMDs on any other device other than PSP 2) UMD's are just inferior to DVD 3) The cost of a DVD is not much more then a UMD. Look for cheap UMDs in the summer sales this year. UMD will be gone by the end of the year. And no you can't call PSP a flop yet.
  12. The Nintendo of Europe site says 2006 so until it changes Its coming this year. This arcticle means nothig there is a good chance that we will se Rev this year.
  13. Saturn and mega Cd is certainly possible, dreamcast could prove difficult to emulate.
  14. It would be nice if it could read the actual CD's its certainly possible but of course offering actual downloads of the CD based games would be cool as well. Hopefully Nintendo will release an add on hard drive for Rev that could go in one of the slots on the bottom of the console.
  15. The problem is that the shell has not been unveiled yet and neither has the specification, in fact not mnay third party games have been announced. Reason? Nintendo and third parties are waiting until E3 to tell all. Have hope most developers have not discounted the possibilitie of ports to Rev, They just have not announced them.
  16. No. They don't because sony edited the technology to do the same thing. With the Revmote I'm sure that the nintendo have made the technology Proprietary but it does not stop sony from copying the cencept and using different technology to achive similer functionality. Sony have had enough time to edit the PS3 controller. My opinion is that some kind of motion sesoring technology will be in the PS3 controller but it will not be free hand there for not as good as rev.
  17. The PS3 remote will be a boomerang shape but specific details of it are unknown I willing to bet my left nut that there could be some kind of motion sensoring thing in it.
  18. No difference what so ever unless your playing copies.
  19. What were the sales of Sonic Rush how do you know how well it sold? I don't think their will ever be a Nights sequal as they could not really repeat the same formulae.
  20. A revo one is likley but I would say that DS might get one first.
  21. It has a nice game structure, the brabching story line is pretty cool but the gaeplay and the level design sucks ass.
  22. I think you need to look past the early stuff and think of the potential. Crossbeam studios sound like they are pure gamers and are hungry for quality. I like the sound of them because they are not monkeys like developers under EA's wing who are told what to create, they create what they want and no one can tell them different as they are an indie developer. I'm excited about there projects. As for a publisher Nintendo will be ideal and yes in the past they have een afraid of very new things but I think they have changed they have made some very new things on DS and are publishing Trauma Center in europe which is very new. Perhaps once your build is to a good level where most of the elements of the game are shown get in contact with nintendo, all you can do is try. A question- Is Crossbeam a UK company?
  23. I don't think a sequal to geist will be made. Think about it Geist was delayed for a year, why? possibly to make a launch FPS for revolution? You never know
  24. This is either a patent for revolution or a re patent for the dreamcast gun as that abstract IS the dreamcast gun. Look at picture B and arrow 15. You can see a round bit. That round bit of plastic is present on the bottom sides of the dreamcasts VM. Sega could implement a similer design. Sega probably have exclusive rights given to them from Nintendo to create the Official gun for revolution. Third parties won't have to pay a license fee. If sega does not make a gun someone else will as it would be great for Light gun games and FPS games.
  25. Online petitions never work, with a paper petition you have a slightly bigger chance but its still unlikly.
