kyletherobot Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 i was in woolworths today and saw some pretty cheap games: Phoenix Wright DS - £12.99 GTA Double Pack Xbox - £7.99 Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter PS2 - £4.99 Pacman GBA - £2.99 Far Cry Instincts Predator Xbox 360 - £29.99 Viewtiful Joe PS2 £3.49 etc. there were loads more for DS and PS2 but i cant remember what they were. the woolworths website: www.woolworths.co.uk has some of the same deals, like Phoenix Wright but there were a few instore that arent on the site. check it out, hope someone finds something they wanted.
welsh_gamer Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Damn! And i paid £19.99 for Phoenix there last week! Oh well, worth every penny!
Cubechris Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 That GTA double pack is well worth it, and it'c BC on the 360. Snap that shit up dawgs.

Ashley Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 I didn't see any games on sale, but I did buy the Stereophonics live album for £4, which I thought was okay. As I said to the assistant manager, "you finally have good deals." (I know her, wasn't just being sarcy)
kyletherobot Posted September 15, 2006 Author Posted September 15, 2006 weird, in the barnsley store they have a whole section dedicated to sale games.
Katie Posted September 16, 2006 Posted September 16, 2006 I looked today but there wasn't any cheap games, there never in my town.

When I was there they made us ask if customers want a bag and receipt because it costs money, and we kept some lights off to cut back on costs. Bought something from a different one yesterday, and had a plain bag, was like a marketseller's bag. Spose thats what happens when you pay shitty useless managers 40 grand a year.
Nintendork Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Good price for Phoenix Wright, can't say no to that- even though I can't really afford to spend more money.
Been Insane Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Thanks for this, managed to get Phoenix Wright which I have been after for ages but at that price I couldn't say no.
Nintendork Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Mines gonna be up to 3 weeks, meh. Hope they send packages seperately or my DVDs will be held up in limbo, they're ready in 24 hours
Been Insane Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 If your talking about Phoenix Wright, I just went into the store. They had loads there the other day. Though that was in Birmingham. :S
Nintendork Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 Woolworths Evaluation: Great website, secure delivery, prompt e.mail updates. Extremely cheap. Postage free, VAT pre-paid on the parcel. Great packaging, receipt included. Came much faster than the website estimated.. ordered on Friday came 5 days later. Problems? well that all sounds pretty great but the fuckers left the DVDs on my door because I wasn't awake. That is not acceptable, luckily I live in a village but it is really lazy that you can't put them around the back of the house or with a neighbour. Won't be ordering with them again personally just because of their choice of courier.

Been Insane Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 Yeah i'd agree with Locky on that one. Thats more down to the courier though if I was you I would definatley get onto Woolworths about it. If you lived where I do you never would have got that package if they just left it on your door step.
