Kaeporagaebora Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 Not at TGS at all. No presence, no speech. You'll probably see some third party games though. But, as for release date? Nothing.
The fish Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 There were gonna be a load of P$£ games, but no stuff from Nintendo.
Dante Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 TGS will be held on September 22–24 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. Nintendo will hold there own shows on the 14th before TGS.
Hellfire Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 TGS is or was owned by Sony, so Nintendo usually farts in its general direction.
knightendo Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 so Nintendo usually farts in its general direction. yes indeed, sony are pig-dogs.
The Bard Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 TGS is or was owned by Sony, so Nintendo usually farts in its general direction. Haha. Roflcopter. That was rather amusing.

raven_blade2006 Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 Cool. I see, I've been gone from the internet for a while so I was just updating! So the 14th and 15th... I can wait! Yay. 3 Press conferences over 2 days in Japan, USA and Europe. All supposedly 6 hours long. Something big will be happening, you can guarantee it.
Owen Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 Yep in just over a week everything will hopefully be unveiled! Thank god for that! About bloody time i say! Everything except....the launch game list probably! I'm looking forward to the TGS mainly for the PS3 games etc...i need more info about the PS3 and 22nd September will hopefully give me that!

THE WII MEGATON IS COMING!, but... At TGS, there will be the "The Ultimate Announcement" from Sony Computer Entertainment that will shock the world, steal limelight from Nintendos conferences and ultimately destroy any chances of the Wii having any greater success in the seventh generation of gaming. The PS3 will sell for $199 US. The final phase in Sonys plan to eliminate Nintendo out of the marketplace once and for all. Or at the ABSOLUTE very least, a drastic price cut, Nintendo Look Out...
McMad Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 PS3 will sell for $199 US. The final phase in Sonys plan to eliminate Nintendo out of the marketplace. And days after the PS3's release Sony will declare Bankruptcy...
JetSetWilly Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 Wasn't Nintendo going to reveal the Wii price and release at the Tokyo Game Show? Are they not gonna be at TGS at all? I'm a bit lost after I heard about September 14th and 15th being the new announcement days. Hmmm. I'm lost. Nintendo never actually said that they would reveal anything at TGS. They said we would know by the end of September - which everyone though meant either Leipzig or more likely TGS. These press events have probably been planned for a good long while.
DCK Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 I wonder what Nintendo'll be up to next year when there's barely E3 and they don't like TGS.
McMad Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 Spaceworld *cough*... Sorry i'm feeling a little ill.
Kazzahdrane Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 Leipzig! That's where all the action will be next year.
Emasher Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 these events better be on international televison!
gaggle64 Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 Actually, PAX looks like it could be E3's big replacment. If one of the major manufacturer were to give it their blessing, they could really launch that thing into the stratosphere.
Kazzahdrane Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 Except Mike and Jerry have said frequently that they have no wish for PAX to become the next E3. I suspect a point would come where they'd stop letting certain companies attend if it was becoming too much like E3.
Carlos Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 Someone will have the balls to replace E3. EA shouldn't have tried to close E3 into a smaller show, they should've taken Nintendo's route with TGS. It boggles my mind, how TGS is alive and kicking, when Nintendo did the same thing EA was doing.
