As in the topic with the UK software charts, the french, german and australian charts are also becoming very interesting for us DS-fans these days (and japanese, but those are on the frontpage, so). If it's ok with the mods in here, I would like to dedicate a topic to these charts and comments for them. Every wednesday or thursday, I will update this first post with the latest charts. --------------NOT YET UPDATED FOR THIS WEEK (last weeks charts)-----------------

ALL CHARTS UPDATED

-----------------

NEW FEATURE: If you want to compare the charts to previous weeks, you can use this link. It's a list of charts from the latest weeks. The dates are on the right side, and the headlines on the left side. It's easy to figure out how to use it,

french = 'franske'

german = 'tyske'

australian = 'australske'

This way you can see if this week is getting better or worse by comparing it to previous weeks from the same country :)

I tought it was one of those bar jokes.

Anyway it's nice having charts from other countries than the usual, specialy when they show such favoring for nintendo, I was expecting Crazy Frog on top.

Wow, I'm kinda amazed to see that the Nintendogs games are still selling here in Europe. That's great though. And of course the brain games seem to do well too, with good reason. =3

Only PS2. If I don't write anything for a multiplatform game, it's all platforms combined, though. Don't think that'll happen.

I have updated the australian chart for this week. I have a feature thought for this thread as well, so I'm contacting a mod :). The german chart should be interesting, but it's a little late this week.

EDIT: The site has been down for me almost all day (and yesterday) - am I the only one? Anyway, I've updated with another great german chart. Nintendo FTW :P

Thanks for the thread.

I'm not very surprised by the French and German charts as I already knew Nintendo does quite well in these countries but I didn't think it was doing that well.

Neither did I - it has always been Sony-land. That's why these are interesting as well, seeing if they can hold it up. German and french chart updated.

Thanks :) I've added a new feature to the first post, so that you can compare the charts to previous weeks :) I hope you like it.

If you have any questions regarding the use of it, please ask :)

All 3 charts updated for the week now. Something might be wrong with the german chart, they haven't updated it completely, it seems. That is what I got so far, though.

NSMB is down from 2 to 7 to Germany this week for no reason... I'm thinking shortage, but can't confirm that. It's still going strong in France.

The Germans actually love Nintendo :D

I thought it was the french that love Nintendo, and Nintendo are by far doing the best in the French charts.

According to http://www.gamefront.de Nintendo announced that Brain Training has now sold more than 500.000 copies in Europe in nine weeks.

It took 16 weeks in Japan to reach that number.

60.000 copies are sold per week at the moment.

Quite impressive figures for Europe but Brain Training had the advantage that it could built on it's Japanese reputation.
