Bogbas Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 What is the flux capitor used for? To go back time when the game hadn't fried your equipment? My next PC is only a little over the recommended specs... Oh well time to go budget I think...
Cube Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 Minimum Requirements CPU: Athlon 64 3000+/Intel 2.8ghz Graphics: Nvidia 6600/X800GTO (SM 2.0) RAM: 768Mb/1Gb on Windows Vista HDD: 6GB Internet: 256k+ Optical Drive: DVD Software: DX9.0c with Windows XP *dies* Well, my CPU, Graphics card and RAM arn't good enough. Cube Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 Crysis. Made by the same people as FarCry My graphics card isn't really good enough for this but it'll do. The rest of my computer should boost it.... Are the going for "All graphics, no gameplay" again?
dabookerman Posted July 23, 2006 Author Posted July 23, 2006 Are the going for "All graphics, no gameplay" again? on the same extent as half life 2
Guest Jordan Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 Well the cool thing is, everything and i mean EVERYTHING is destructable. If you wanted to, you could cut a tree down sneekly and kill an enemy. Or you could go in guns blazing, causing a huge stir and maybe setting half the trees on fire. I just about pass the minimum specs, good job it isn't out till Q2 2007.
dabookerman Posted July 23, 2006 Author Posted July 23, 2006 I just need vista and 1 more gig of ram, then its all good
triforce_keeper Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 I dont have reccomended but im all good for minimum, 3700 amd athlon 1 mb, 7600gt, 2 gig ram, and im ok then for vista?
Bluejay Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 My 300mhz Win98 with a sweet 48megs of RAM should run this pretty smooth.
Ryan Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 My 300mhz Win98 with a sweet 48megs of RAM should run this pretty smooth. I didnt think there was anyone with lower megs of RAM then me; I have 63.
Konfucius Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 I'm below minimum specs but I'm not at all surprised by these requirements. I think I wouldn't get the game even if it would run smoothly, jungle fighting isn't actually my kind of thing.
gaggle64 Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 Shit dude, I need to upgrade my CPU. On the recommended specs you also forgot "warp drive".
Bluejay Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 I didnt think there was anyone with lower megs of RAM then me; I have 63. Heh heh, my main PC has half a gig at least. But we still have the old one ready to play crysis on when the time comes.
KKOB Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 this game only runs on vista yeah? and vista need a 64mb processor yeah? and crysis is pc exclusive??? god im fucked
Guest Jordan Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 1, It'll run on XP, but only in DX9 mode. 2, Windows Vista doesn't need a 64bit processor, it'll run fine on a 32bit one. 3, Crysis as far as we can tell, will forever be a PC exclusive game... because the PS3 and XBOX360 don't have full Direct X 10 capabilities.

AshMat Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 Hahaha, oh god, looking at this next to my low specs makes me laugh.
theguyfromspark Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 I'm just wondering how anyone can "sneakily cut down a tree"!
