Phube Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 Not sure if anyone has seen this... could be rubbish I'm just passing it on! http://wii.advancedmn.com/article.php?artid=7209
BGS Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 Ahh, a Wii Star Wars where you control the lightsaber with the wiimote is definitely coming. There's been huge hints and comments about such a game from both lucas arts and nintendo employees.
pedrocasilva Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AC3bqyq9QQY I for sure, wanna play this one with my wiimote.
Sooj Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AC3bqyq9QQY I for sure, wanna play this one with my wiimote. That looks and will play very, very, very well with the wii-mote. Hopefully it will play just like this: can't wait
Kazzahdrane Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 Correction, that trailer looked really cool (some of the action parts looked like they could be gameplay, the last segment where he repeatedly throws the stormtrooper around almost certainly wasn't) and you have know way of knowing if it will work "very very well" with the Wii-mote. It could do, but not need to just to conclusions. I would expect that if Red Steel is a success (specifically the sword-fighting sections), Lucasarts will more likely go for a 1st-person Lightsaber game. Deflecting blaster shots could be fun!
Maverick Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AC3bqyq9QQY I for sure, wanna play this one with my wiimote. I believe that could actually be possible on the wii, look at the jedi academy engine it looks just like that, i just hope that no matter what the stars wars wii looks like you can go in both 3rd and 1st person.
Strider Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 Well in that trailer he may aswell not have had a lightsabre, as it wasnt used once.
mcj metroid Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 yes its confirmed now.Lucasarts support that is,but come on a star wars is a given
Prof Whatsaburger Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 I've thought of a star wars game were the Wii-mote is a lightsaber ever since i heard about the Wii
Wolf Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 Imagine a Star Wars game (preferrably a Jedi Knight game ) where you control the lightsaber with the Wiimote, and use Force powers with the nunchuck attachment, ie push it away from you to use force push and the other way around. I'd hit that.
darkwolf Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 Awesome mind pic. years of training hahaha and then u would surpass master yoda as a swordsman.
Sparko Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 The thought of using the nunchuck for force push sounds amazing. God I'd love that!
froztyman Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 What about Kotor 3 for wii, those games are awesome but the batlle system could be a bit more fun.
Ant-Shimmin Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 Hopefully it is in a FPS perspective, a Trilogy of games... 1st Game: Obi Wan Kanobi's Story 2nd Game: Darth Vader/Anakins Story 3rd Game: Luke Sky Walker 4th: A Fusion of them both Imagine it online, I have the mofo'ing force!!!
Retro_Link Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 Star Wars Wii could be very cool indeed, If you watch the trailer for Star Wars: Next Gen, you can see how awesome forse moves could be, controlling them with the wii-mote and nunchuck! http://uk.media.xbox360.ign.com/media/823/823667/vids_1.html
Zechs Merquise Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 Can anyone remember Star Wars Arcade by Sega, we should get that, that'd be awesome!
