Posted July 15, 2006 Alright basically i'm getting a 360 for christmas and i'm thinking about which consle to get with it i have two options 1. Buy a ps2 now and get a 360 for christmas but this means no dslite to replace my old ds or wii till about next christmas maybe a bit earlier 2.Buy a ds now and get a 360 for crhistmas with a wii in summer of next year. Also i have ran out of gc games so i have basically nothing to play now apart from my ds. Advice on what to do would be most appreicated. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Posted July 16, 2006 I have to agree with Yamcha - get a PS2. There are too many awesome and cheap games that you mustn't miss. If you really want a Wii, I say wait a year or so for more games to arrive. Also, launch games allways suck, and that's a fact. Posted July 17, 2006 (edited) Yamcha speaks the truth; if I had to pick one console to keep, it would probably be the PS2. It also has the added bonus of being upgradeable like the Wii, in that your old collection will be compatible with the PS3 should you ever decide to go for one of them. A DS lite is pretty, but really more of an aesthetic upgrade if you already have a functioning DS - plus by the time you go to upgrade there will probably be about a million colours available to choose from (come on, orange!). Posted July 17, 2006 I'm all up for Wii60, but let's face it PS2 already has a load of good games. Not as many as GC imo, but still a lot of great ones.
