DCK
Look: IT'S TEH UNUSED! LET THE SPECULATION BEGIN! Even if it's a flap, it'll be the DVD dongle. How exciting.
Hellfire
It's an expansion slot for sure.

Hellfire
I'll jump in the bandwagon and say nintendo will launch an expansion pack that will allow real time weapon switching.
Tyson
Could it not be just a part of the casing? It seems way to small for anything else. That's what I thought. I don't know why people are assuming it's a "slot", even though it's never been seen open.
McMad
I'll jump in the bandwagon and say nintendo will launch an expansion pack that will allow real time weapon switching. I'll try it aswell: There is an almighty power within the the slot that lets you fight the seventeenth colossi, resurrect Aeris and yes let you make toast. Some say it could be God, or the Stig. Stabby
That's definately for the DVD add-on. At first we thought it would be behind the flap, but there's only an SD card slot there.

Flaight
This one is so obvious - that hole is the onboard toothpaste and built-in toothbrush attachment. Haven't you guys heard of convergence hardware? No other next gen console will have this out of box.

arab_freak
There's nothing "hidden" or "found" about it. People have already said it might be where you put the DVD attachment in. Remember the High speed and low speed ports at the bottom of the Gamecube? Well, we never got the chance to use them or find out what they were for, and nobody seemed to care about it.
