DCK
4-3-3 for me [GK] Gianluigi Buffon (Italy) [RB] Willy Sagnol (France) [CB] Fabio Cannavaro (Italy) [CB] Roberto Ayala (Argentina) [LB] Juan Pablo Sorin (Argentina) [DMF] Andrea Pirlo (Italy) [DMF] Maniche (Portugal) [AMF] Zinedine Zidane (France) [RWF] Robin van Persie (Netherlands) [CF] Miroslav Klose (Germany) [LWF] Robinho (Brazil) I'll explain the wingers: Van Persie is there because I need him there to feel good about my national team and Robinho is there because Brazil only started playing football when he was in the field. Fierce_LiNk
Cant belive people chose recardo. hes useless till penalties. buffon not concedded any goals against opponents apart from one own goal. It was a difficult decision for me to make. I think Ricardo's performances have been great, along with Lehmann's and Buffon's. Although, i think Buffon has been heavily protected by his back 4. In the end, Ricardo just about nabbed it for me, but it wasn't an easy decision to make.
Blue_Ninja0
Cant belive people chose recardo. hes useless till penalties. buffon not concedded any goals against opponents apart from one own goal. Definitely not useless. He has been a great keeper, even outside of penalties. Btw, i'm curious about your sig, Max. What's that?

Well the preformance against germany was proof of stupidity he has in trying to look good for the camera. the sig refers to a presentation i done back in the day about Batistuta, the greatest finisher this world has seen. Noodleman
GK : Lehman (Germany) DR : Zambrotta (Italy) DC : Terry (England) DC : Cannavaro (Italy) DL : Lahm (Germany) MR : Maxi Rodriguez (Argentina) MC : Ballack (Germany) MC : Gattuso (Italy) ML : Zidane (France) SC : Klose (Germany) SC : Torres (Spain) For me, I was toying with Ronaldo instead of Zidane but I like Zidane more. And Zambrotta was the only RB who came to mind

Hellfire
Ricardo was the best goal keeper this world cup, you have to admit that. I'm not savy enough to make a dream team :P

I'm not savy enough to make a dream team :P Buffon/Lehmann/Kahn/Cech/Van der Sar/Coupet (and maybe even Hislop ) would not have conceided that Schweinsteiger goal in the third place match. I understand the Portugese hype, but he's an average goal keeper when he's not stopping penalties. If he was that great, he wouldn't be playing for Benfica. Hellfire
He doesn't play for Benfica, he plays for sporting. And Benfica is a great team, so shut your mouth Of course that he fails sometimes, everyone does, but from what I saw in this world cup, he was the best.
