Delhijo Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 There are two chilean in wimbledon. They are really good, Massu and Gonzalez. They won gold medal in the Olympics. Massu in singles and doubles, and gonzalez just gold in doubles and bronze in single. But they are really bad in grass, they say grass is for cows XD
mike-zim Posted June 29, 2006 Author Posted June 29, 2006 i thought he was still british number 1. oh well there is a kick in the nuts.
stev2604 Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 There are two chilean in wimbledon. They are really good, Massu and Gonzalez. They won gold medal in the Olympics. Massu in singles and doubles, and gonzalez just gold in doubles and bronze in single. But they are really bad in grass, they say grass is for cows XD Gonzalez got to the quarters of wimbledon last year, and pushed federer a fair bit. So hes not bad on grass at all!
spirited away Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 Well done Murray, Completely slaughtered Roddick
BeerMonkey Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 murray beat the number 3 seed (roddick) was stunned at the score after i turned over after the football. roddick is a two time finalist and used to be the world number 1 well done murray keep it up boyo
KKOB Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 that murray roddick match was amazing!!! screw football tennis is always number 1
Owen Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 I have a very good feeling about Murray this year! Will he win? You may be surprised.....
mike-zim Posted July 3, 2006 Author Posted July 3, 2006 LOL he did well and i recon he will get to quarter finals but win? i dont think so.
spirited away Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Well The Murray band wagon has crashed and my dreams of his glory have been scuppered
Monopolyman Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Well The Murray band wagon has crashed and my dreams of his glory have been scuppered But he beat the #3 seed. How many 19 year olds can say that.
Fierce_LiNk Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Aye, he's out. I think he knackered himself out from the Roddick game, personally. He made quite a lot of mistakes.
spirited away Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Cant believe the contrast in performances. Playes amazing against Roddick but pretty dam poor against That other dude today ( cant remember his name ). Murray looks like a real talent for the future though.
Sarka Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Just imagine if Murray had won or gotten much furthur in this years Wimbeldon. Just imagine how much pressure would of been put on him for the rest of his life. It would of been awful. At least with this preformance he can just keep on attempting to improve.
stev2604 Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 But he beat the #3 seed. How many 19 year olds can say that. At 19 Nadal had a 5-1 W/L record over the world no.1(Federer).
spirited away Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 At 19 Nadal had a 5-1 W/L record over the world no.1(Federer). Not too shabby.
Monopolyman Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 At 19 Nadal had a 5-1 W/L record over the world no.1(Federer). Really? Well, It's still a rather impressive feat at that age and experiance.
Jon Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 Really? Well, It's still a rather impressive feat at that age and experiance. Yes, out of the window at Wimbledon really, being that Nadal is a demon on clay, but has a lot to learn on grass.
stev2604 Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 Mauresmo was 6-3 3-1 up and now its 5-3 to sharapova:hmm: Shes choking again
mike-zim Posted July 6, 2006 Author Posted July 6, 2006 she needs to learn when to just play effective tennis. close it off as fast as possible. that is what federer does and he is the best.
Fierce_LiNk Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 The Baghdatis/Hewitt match was amazing, yesterday. In the first set, i was starting to wonder whether Hewitt would ever win a game! He did get back into the match, but Baghdatis seemed to want it more.
stev2604 Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 Well she won in in the end anyway. Heres hoping for a Federer Baghdatis final!
EEVILMURRAY Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 I hope we get this kind of enthusiasm when Snooker comes on BBC2.
