Ramar Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Going to Arsenal vs West Ham today. I reckon it will be a tough game.
|Laguna| Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Question. Why were some Premiership games on yesterday (Friday), I've never seen that happen before.
Eddage Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Question. Why were some Premiership games on yesterday (Friday), I've never seen that happen before. Because of Good Friday. A similar thing happens around Christmas time with boxing day games (obviously depending on which day boxing day falls that year)!
froztyman Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 We got it worse in sweden, our league started yesterday, friday, with one game. THe last game of the first round is tuesday. Its probably only the last round where all the games are played simuontanously. (How is that spelled by the way?) Its sucks when away games are on weekdays where very few can get off work or school to travel to the match. Derby-matches are always played weekdays for "safety reasons". Ultimatly all this means less spectators...
harribo Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Barnsley losing after 2 minutes I'm so happy. Edit-Sheff U 0 - 1 Newcastle even better :grin::grin:
Happenstance Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Im just happy Liverpool have scored. Well taken goal by Arbeloa.
harribo Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 And now Wednesdays winning. Unfortunately Leon Clarke scored which means Steve Maclean will probably be on his way in summer because despite being our best striker he isn't really compatible with our chairman.
conzer16 Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Leeds just equalised thru David Healy against Plymouth! COME ON LEEDS!!!
Goron_3 Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 wow go west Ham! I really hope they stay up this season.
harribo Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Play-offs here we come(joke). Wednesday 2 - 1 Cardiff. Pity Leeds are drawing, yet again Barnsley going down would probably be sweeter since I go to Barnsley college.
Happenstance Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Reading are definately playing better this second half, really taking it to Liverpool. I just hope we can get a second goal and win, plus Benitez needs to take Sissoko off. Once again he is playing awfully.
harribo Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Oh were bringing our top goalscorer on with only 4 minutes to play. Good tactics.
Noodleman Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 hahaha Arsenal 0-1 West Ham, according to soccer saturday Arsenal have had 26 shots on goal and West Ham have had 4 only 1 on taget
Platty Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 I saw that about the arse and just cracked up! love it! Well done West Ham! hahaha.
conzer16 Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Leeds win 2-1 and move clear of the relegation zone for the first time since November!!! Oh yeah!!!!
Fierce_LiNk Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 I saw that about the arse and just cracked up! love it! Well done West Ham! hahaha. Ssshhh. *the hammers beat us as well* I mean, haha Arsenal! Looooseeers.
Platty Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Ssshhh. *the hammers beat us as well* I mean, haha Arsenal! Looooseeers. Yeah but we are not on the verge of losing our champions league place.
Fields Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Arsenal fans must be gutted. No silverware and a 5th place finish.
Goron_3 Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Poor Arsenal. They actually can't score this season; it's hilarious.
spirited away Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Well we lost to Chelsea, maybe thought Robbo couldv'e saved it, he's not pulling of great saves light he used to, bar Thursday. At least aresnal lost, that cheered me up.
Guest Stefkov Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Its a shame Chelsea won. I really wanted Tot'ham to win. I thought they played quite well. Zakora's (?) goal for West Ham was brilliant, well taken. Now United are losing and I'm quite annoyed. Another mistake, even so the same mistake by not punching it out, Van der Sar has been the main cause for the last 2 goals United has conceded. You're one of the best keepres in the Premierhip, what you doing???

Also, I didnt see todays goal, but i think you're being harsh on the goal that Roma scored. It was a powerful shot and he did well to get something on it and it was unbelieveable bad luck to land at the feet of their player, nothing the defense could do about it, just a rare goal. 9 times out of 10 it would have just been cleared. How is the game anyway, does it look like we'll win?
Noodleman Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Arsenal fans must be gutted. No silverware and a 5th place finish. The thought of that Fat **** and his Bolton "team" in the Champions league makes me sad.
