CooInTheZoo
2 days before its birthday, and my iPod has a heart attack. The hold button hasnt been responding for months, and now its not connecting to iTunes propperly. For fucks sake. (Its not really a "i hate iPods thread because i love mine, just venting some anger and seeing if anyone else has had these problems)
Ramar
I'd have sent it back when the hold button wasn't working, at least then you'd get a new one or repair before the warranty runs out. Assuming that by birthday you mean you'll have had it a year.
CooInTheZoo
The thing is, i tried a little 'take the shell off and clean it' experiment, which i would of thought screwed the warrenty conditions :s
Platty
How long is the warrenty for? can you not send it back and get it fixed? If not get a creative vision M

Seriously, one of my mates has one, and it's freaking sweet. Ipods break if you look at them funny.

The Bard
I bought an Iriver iHP 140 2 years ago this august, and even though I cracked the screen casing by sleeping on it (yes I love it that much) and even though it has approximately 38 gigs of music (6000 songs approx) and scrubs eps (100 eps approx) and various movies, wares, games etc, I still take it to school every day, and listen to it for a good 4-5 hours every day. Most of my mates have iPods, about 2/3 of those have broken at some point. Moral of this incredibly boring story: buy iRiver, not iPod, and deflate some of apples much undeserved market share. Charlie
Most likely he'll have bought music from the ITMS meaning he'll have to get an iPod if he wants to play it...
Eddage
Most likely he'll have bought music from the ITMS meaning he'll have to get an iPod if he wants to play it... But I thought you could convert those songs bby burning them onto CD then ripping them back onto your computer in mp3 mode? In which case it wouldn't matter! Guest Jordan
The people are rising up against the Apple regime it would appear. I'd recommed a Zen Vision M like the other guys, i'm really happy with my Zen PMC, apparently theres a way to hack the firmware to get networking on it thus Internet... huzzah. That or you could try the other alternative the iRiver Clix, 2GB but its freaking tiny and really nice.
