Domo Kun Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 Er foxdie and the cloning of solid snake is what is making him age quickly... or have i missed something here? Oh right. Whoops! That makes a lot more sense. Although I would quite like to know why he's visiting the grave of the Boss... We shall see I suppose. Oh and I bloody love MGS cutscenes.

Yes indeedy, that cannot be contradicted im afraid, because the grave stone looks to have the same thing written, but the location looks different, but then things change over time.
Jamba Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 Well MGS3 lasted around 25 hours, thats if u include the 2-3 hours worth of cutscenes, understand, this is one of the most story driven based games out there, cinematics are crucial, after all Hide-chan wanted to be a director afterall Oh yeah, totally. I just think that it would excecute better actually being a movie rather than a game. It's probably just niggling at my "games are more than interactive movies!" nerve. But hey as long as all games aren't like that then I don't mind. It just wants to be a movie so much. Shenmue was very cinematic, but it could only have been a game. See what I mean?
dabookerman Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 http://gamevideos.com/video/id/5233 Metal Smash Gear Football LOL 3 BRAND NEW MINUTES PEOPLE, This shit is hard to come by.

Hellfire Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 Looks very good graphically, but I wish they'd shown some gameplay... And stop mooing you damn metal gears!
Helmsly Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 Its not Boss's grave, its Fox's, or maybe Raiden's. I can't find it at the moment but there's a picture that compares the bosses grave from MGS 3 to the shot from the metal gear solid 4 trailer and they looks near identical.

Helmsly Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 well thats because all the tombstones are the same for fallen soldiers who get buried in a government graveyard.:horse: By looks I mean it has the same lettering on it as the Bosses grave, plus the white flowers are pretty much a dead give away its her tomb stone. Not saying there's no chance its Ninjas, But I really doubt it (unless they wrote "WHO SAVED THE WORLD on both their Tombstones )
Ryan Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 Oh christ another dissection of every scene in every trailer ever shown.. MGS3 was disappointing.

Babooo Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 Oh christ another dissection of every scene in every trailer ever shown.. MGS3 was disappointing. I thought MGS3 was one of the best!!! I really liked it.

Hero-of-Time Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 Oh christ another dissection of every scene in every trailer ever shown.. MGS3 was disappointing. I just wandered in here to see what the crack was and was shocked to see this statement. I know eveyone is entitled to their own opinion but what exactly was wrong with MGS3? I loved the game to bits and the story was OUTSTANDING, so much so that I had to fight back the tears due to the whole end scene. I wish I hadnt got rid of my PS2 now, I would like to play through it again. Oh yeah, the scene where Snake got the living hell beat out of him was very powerful. Never has a game stirred up so much anger and a wanting for revenge than that 1 scene.
Zell Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 Oh christ another dissection of every scene in every trailer ever shown.. MGS3 was disappointing. MGS3 was like the best one! MGS2, that was disappointing (especially when compared to how good mgs on playstation was). So has anyone here played the original Metal Gear (or MG 2)? I think they were on the snes, and if so, I might be thinking of downloading them on virtual console.

They were on the NES and a console before that aswell ( Booker will know  )
Ryan Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 They were on the NES and a console before that aswell ( Booker will know  ) Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake were on MSX..
dabookerman Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 Dont play snakes revenge on the nes, thats the shit one, that Kojima had no involvement in whatsoever. MG 1 and 2 on the msx are the superior versions.
Helmsly Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Metal gear Solid 3 "Subsistence" is release in October and that has both the orginal Metal gear games (MSX Versions) included on it. I can't belive how badly we got screwed on that game, the Americans have been playing it with its online mode since March!
dabookerman Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 I posted this on neogaf and i will post this again.
