Ashley Posted September 8, 2009 Author Posted September 8, 2009 More often than not its boring anyway. Get own with your own lives yo. "In every province, the chief occupations, in order of importance, are lovemaking, malicious gossip, and talking nonsense.” Seems fitting.
MoogleViper Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 More often than not its boring anyway. Get own with your own lives yo. But N-E is our lives. When you were at school if a friend or even just a fellow student got expelled/excluded wouldn't you want to know why?
Ashley Posted September 8, 2009 Author Posted September 8, 2009 Read your first sentence again and reflect upon your existence.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 But we're the Internet! We have the right to know!
Molly Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Oh come on Ashley. If you didn't happen to be an admin who knows all the details, you'd also be intrigued.
Ashley Posted September 8, 2009 Author Posted September 8, 2009 The last person who got banned; spambot. The one before that; spambot. Its hardly a Lifetime movie
MoogleViper Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 The last person who got banned; spambot. The one before that; spambot. Its hardly a Lifetime movie And did anybody enquire as to why they were banned?
Ashley Posted September 8, 2009 Author Posted September 8, 2009 I believe you just did in a roundabout way. This is all moot anyway. The original point still stands, you're a bunch of gossiping grannies, get back to The Street!
MoogleViper Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 I believe you just did in a roundabout way. This is all moot anyway. The original point still stands, you're a bunch of gossiping grannies, get back to The Street! Actually I don't see how I did. And we aren't gossiping, we're just interested. You could argue that they are one and the same but would you label your (grand)mother a gossip for wanting to know what you were up to in your life?
Ashley Posted September 8, 2009 Author Posted September 8, 2009 You're asking why the spambot was banned. No matter how I answer the question it reveals the reason why it was banned. If my grandmother asked about my life no, I wouldn't consider her a gossip. If she asked about someone on the internet she's never met and whose life doesn't affect her one iota, yes.
nightwolf Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 I may have missed this I don't read this thread all that often. But wasn't the numbers of pages thing supposed to be sorted out a while ago? I still have this problem on nearly every thread I go on, no matter what computer or browser I use. If its been answered or whatever then I apologise.

No I didn't, I was saying that nobody asked why they were banned as nobody cares. But when members that have been around for years are banned, people care. What if she had spoken to those people on the internet regularly for a few years?

If its been answered or whatever then I apologise. Its a recurring issue that's still on the backburner. There's a temporary fix to it which I keep doing but can't seem to get to the bottom of it.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 SPAMBOTs banned? I think he meant a random spambot, as in a person who spams. Not the SPAMBOT.
Happenstance Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 Anyone else having any problems with the forum today? Running very slow for me and replying to threads has been iffy.
Shorty Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Sorry for the slow response, are you still having issues or was it just that day?
Happenstance Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Yeah it was just that day, been fine since then
Shorty Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Franklin got hitched and now he doesn't have time for us ;_;
canand Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Franklin got hitched and now he doesn't have time for us ;_; So the podcast is finnished know then?
Ashley Posted October 12, 2009 Author Posted October 12, 2009 Its not finished, but it never had a scheduled occurrence anyway. It happens as and when, but as Shorty said Franklin is a newlywed.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 I'm having trouble uploading a new image as my signature. It's 500x100 pixels and has a file size of 15,4 KB. I've both tried uploading it directly from my computer and linking to it on Photobucket, and every time it says "unable to save image". What's wrong?
Ashley Posted October 16, 2009 Author Posted October 16, 2009 Umm you suck? Whats the photobucket link?
