Dog-amoto Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 Headed to Xbox One and 360 this Autumn. http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/06/02/ign-first-forza-horizon-2-announced
Daft Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 I'm not that surprised. Forza Horizon's sales were awful.
Dcubed Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 It being a cross gen game is a real shocker! Speaks volumes about MS' confidence about selling their games as Xbone exclusives...
S.C.G Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 Looks like we can expect to see plenty more cross generation Xbox games... :awesome: ...on the horizon.
flameboy Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 So what's so great about Horizon compared to the regular series?
S.C.G Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 So what's so great about Horizon compared to the regular series? It's actually fun... Well not just that but the mainline Forza games always have a more 'serious' vibe to them, Horizon? Less so, you just drive across an open world where you like, picking challenges as you feel like it; generally it's the kind of racing game that manages to hit upon a decent middle-ground despite still not being the best by any stretch of the imagination. In any case though, I kind of liked the original.

In any case though, I kind of liked the original. A guy at work who loves Forza and racing games was telling me about Horizon and how good it was. I thought it sounded similar to Burnout Paradise (which I loved). Will definitely be picking this up.
