Rummy Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 (edited) I was gonna bump the shit out of the ShopTo thread then move it along here, but instead I thought...why not have a fresh thread! This is inspired by my yesterday making the most out of Ike's post in General Wii U bargains about The Game Collection having W101 for £25, a deal I snapped up within minutes! However I must say I'm rather impressed to come home today and find a package arrived for me...it's Wonderful 101! Not seen or expected service like this other than from ShopTo! So I'm now gonna keep TheGameCollection in mind for future order and price hunting. They also have a 2.5% reward/points system, similar to Game and ShopTo(though iirc ShopTo's is tiered and at different levels)...so yeah! Basically wanted to just tout them a bit, but also to ask who you guys tend to shop with/recommend and why? Edited November 1, 2013 by Rummy
RedShell Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Yeah, ShopTo all the way. Although funnily enough I have used The Game Collection once or twice (was a long time ago though) and do recall them being very good. You can't go wrong with either of them by the looks of things. GAME on the other hand are completely useless and should be avoided at all cost. Unless of course you enjoy getting ripped off, getting your games late, or receiving pre-owned titles when you ordered new.
Dcubed Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Shopto Shopto SHOPTO! Great prices, lighting fast. What's not to love? For import games, I recommend Videogamesplus.ca Also, I'd like to give a shout-out to the Nintendo UK store. I ordered the Fit Meter for Wii Fit U from them and it actually arrived the day before the game released; so if you're thinking of ordering from them, their delivery times seem to be good.
Londragon Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 I use The Base and The Hut a lot, both deliver to Taiwan for super cheap, like 99p, and I've never had a problem with either of them. The Base is currently my favourite as they knock off the UK tax which makes every game cheaper than other sites for me. Takes between 2 and 3 weeks for delivery, but that's to be expected.
Fierce_LiNk Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Both TheGameCollection and Grainger Games are high on my list, at the moment. Whenever I'm looking for a specific game, these are two of the sites I usually visit first. Grainger in particular really came through for me with Need for Speed: Most Wanted.
gaggle64 Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Gotta love Good Old Games - DRM-free classics from yesteryear and new indie titles ready to roll on modern PCs & Macs.
