Posted January 30, 2013 So February is almost here and @Sprout reminded me of last year's Draw a Day, which was started up here by @Marcamillian. I had a look through the old thread again and was amazed by all the great art that was posted there. So I figured, why not try it again this year? I probably won't have much time to draw much myself as I am now in full-time employment (whereas last year I was still jobless and still living at home), but I will try to post as much as possible. Probably just some pencil sketches I do at work but we will see. =) So if you feel like participating, feel free to join! Basically the challenge is to submit one drawing/piece of art for every day in February. It sounds easy, but it can be quite challenging! When a pencil sketch with quickly thrown in PhotoShop colouring is vastly better than anything you could ever possibly produce yourself, it does get your spirits down a bit. The jumper did not appear to be two different shades of black on my ipad. High resolution my arse. Nice detailing too, like in the photos. =) I had a bit of drama today and almost couldn't participate anymore as I lost my tablet pen!
