Im not leaving without somthing signed or somthing extra, ticketmaster, hmv and nintendo should be reported. The fact they are selling t shirts and posters would it have been too much for them to give 1 free to the vip ticket holders maybe with an exclusive design. The t shirts and posters prob cost next to nothing to make.

That laynard is the same one shit loads of people got at e3 and a plastic card that says vip on it woo hoo.

Are you guys for real? Looting? Watchdog?

God forbid they don't play your favourite piece of Zelda music during the concert...

As much as I'd love to have some awesome tat that somehow qualifies my love of the Zelda series, just having a seat right at the front of the performance is enough for me. The seats the VIPs are getting ARE USUALLY £100 at top-class performances at the Apollo, so it's not really THAT surprising that we don't get hundreds of pounds worth of goodies on top of that is it? And a free copy of Skyward Sword? Seriously? Who would ever honestly expect Nintendo to do something like that?

These.

Those paying £100 for a ticket to see Zelda music are also the ones who will spend any amount of money asked on a special edition version of a game, or on t-shirts and other merch where possible. Why would Nintendo essentially rip themselves off by giving stuff away to those who would gladly pay? The only people I could see getting some freebies would be non-specialist press.

It's cruel but it's business.

I'm amazed that some people can be stingy enough to devote pages upon pages in a topic on how and where to save 5 quid on a game's preorder, yet shell out 100 quid because of a 'meet and greet' and un-named 'memorabilia'

Well, I for one am looking forward to Tuesday. Nice night out with my boyfriend listening to some beautiful music. Probably won't get to meet any of you guys unfortunately, it's his last night in the country so I'll want to go out with him for a meal or something, but perhaps some of your Miis will turn up in my plaza. ;)

And yeah. Whatever, try to lighten up. You're going to see a once in a life time celebration of something that has brought joy to all our lives.

Well I won my tickets to the concert, so I expect Nintendo to at least provide me with a ride on a horse called Epona to the Apollo, a Zelda themed banquet and the opportunity to play the ocarina live on stage #ungratefulbastard

It only took 20 pre-ordered savings to afford this.

I'd laugh if it hadn't been for the fact that I got myself a VIP ticket. Oh well. I'll find ways to reinvest back that money so that is no matter to me. But if a lanyard is what counts as being the ultimate Zelda fan, then that's hilarious. Oh and guys, please refrain from shouting mid performance.

Any idea what time doors open today guys? Haven't got my tickets to hand till later

Got the ticket in my hand now, it looks like "DRS 18:30" which I assume is ghetto slang for doors.

3DS primed and ready. How many Mii's can the 3DS handle at one time, because there are going to be shitloads on streetpass tonight.

Really enjoyed that, beautiful performances and nice to see Zelda Williams there, she did really well. Shame I had huge speakers cutting through the middle of the screen! No idea why I bothered paying for Circle seats.

Loved the Wind Waker medley, that was probably the highlight for me. Really didn't need to hear Kakariko from TP. But the end sequence that focused on TP was very nice, and Hyrule Castle to start off was fantastic too.

Nice to hear the Skyward Sword theme which I'm now a big fan of, that was a nice surprise. From seeing the demos, the game itself looks absolutely stunning. Still graphic shots really don't do it justice. Didn't play anything though, rather wait to have it to myself :)

PS: 20 fucking quid for a poster!!??! They were selling them for TEN DOLLARS in the US.

PPS: Really pleased they played a bit of Spirit Tracks, really nice tunes in that game

It was really beautiful. Zelda Williams hosted and Eiji Aonuma came out every so often to tell people not to film it, or pimp Skyward Sword (even telling everyone to go and buy the special edition to get the soundtrack). Koji Kondo was also there, performing a solo piano piece of the Grandmother’s Theme from Wind Waker.

They also played my favourite song, which is the Hyrule Castle Theme from A Link to the Past.

My only real complaint was the annoying guy behind me, excitedly croaking the name of the game, location or scene that every song was from, even the MP3’s playing at intermission, down my neck.

All-in-all was propa’ bo! And I got about 100 Miis on my 3DS now.

As if nobody knew which piece of music belonged where without the guy stating the obvious.

Wish i went to this, too bad the whole of October is no holiday month due to training.

The was a bit when all was silent but one of the harpests playing the Fairy Fountain song, slowly, and sweatly, the screen behind showed her, beginning out of focus and fading into focus atmospherically. Yet the guy kept saying "Oh! Out of focus! Come on! Oh! NOW we're talking. Hmm. Nice!"

It's gonna sound really snobby, but I don't think many of these people go to concerts very often. Some people even started applauding during songs when they thought it had finished as they weren't watching the conductor. Loads of people seemed to be talking during the Wind Waker medley too.

Now that i hate, you want to enjoy the music that you paid to listen to and all you can hear is "Mr Mouthy" behind you or next to you instead.

Aonuma only expressed his sadness at someone filming it and then putting it online once at the beginning. Apart from that I don't recall any other mentions. I was too busy filming it. I'm not planning on putting it online but I want it to last.

I think it's probably because I'm tired but I can't remember much.

I just got back home. I thought booking the last train at 11:15 was being generous. However it turns out the meet n' greet took longer than I anticipated and thus I ended up missing my train. Fortunately using a combination of hijacking a different train to Leicester and my girlfriend's car I managed to find my way home.

Apart from that it was an enjoyable night. Got around 100 people on Mii Plaza, completed all those picture crap things. And almost finished with Streetpass Quest.

Plus I let Zelda deface my Ocarina of Time 3D case. She gave Link a crown.
