Fused King Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 So, ......this happening on the main land or what?
yesteryeargames Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Don't want to look too much of a geek at the meet n' greet with the orchestra people. Well my friend is going as tingle lol , and you never know who might turn up to the meet and greet i really hope shiggsy or kondo
Hamishmash Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 I WOULD dress up, but me and my boyfriend are going as Tintin and Captain Haddock to the Tintin Leicester Square premiere the night before and I think there's only so much geekery you can fit in a week. If I did cosplay though... gotta be Linebeck.
EEVILMURRAY Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 You choose Tintin fancy dress over Zelda? Get the fuck out.
yesteryeargames Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Got 2 spare tickets 1 £38 and 1 £65 if anyones interested ,
Fused King Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 This stunt is unforgiveable! I'll feel a little less angry when I'm able to download/purchase the CD with the music on it, but the experience, sitting in a vast theater with hundreds of Zelda fans whilst listening to custom made orchestrated tracks of various Zelda games and possibly a Skyward Sword scoop, is not spread to as many fans as possible. Shame on you NINTENDO, shame on you! If anything the mainland would've made more sense.....
Retro_Link Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Tbf the UK is surely by far Nintendo's biggest European market! Roll on that World Nintendo Store I say!
Retro_Link Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 This is the latest. http://n-europe.com/news.php?nid=16067 News: Nintendo Dismisses London Store Rumours Aug 12th 2011 08:54 Nintendo has claimed rumours about a Nintendo Store in London are "speculation". Earlier in the week UK-based Nintendo fans were excited by a rumour that stated Nintendo was to open a store in the heart of London on it's most well known shopping street - Oxford Street. However, Nintendo has gone on record to claim that this is nothing but "speculation". Speaking to VG247 a Nintendo representative said talk of a Nintendo store in London is "purely rumour and speculation,” seemingly dismissing the notion completely. However, Nintendo is known for denying rumours until they are willing to announce details so we will have to wait and see. The original rumour suggested that within two weeks a Nintendo store would be opened on Oxford Street. Details seemed to suggest that it would be a concession within a large department store, such as Selfridges or John Lewis, rather than a store in itself like in New York, But surely they've gotta be looking at expanding past the New York store.
The-chosen-one Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 (edited) just saw this fan made 3d animation for the 25th aniversary, thought was nicely done Edited August 17, 2011 by The-chosen-one
Retro_Link Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Well I'll say on good thing for that video... it did make me want a game staring Sheik! :p Also made me remember something I didn't like about Twilight Princess... why would you want to see/remember the Hero of Time as a skeleton? Bollocks to that.
Ronnie Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Pretty impressive video (apart from Link running!) Shame it was mostly ruined by the awful text/translation
