Fierce_LiNk
... Yeah it would take a brave person to mess with... wait who is that... Rabbit Man? Bale > All others for me. Really though? Keaton was a great Batman and Bruce Wayne. He was a lot more solid than Bale.
mcj metroid
Would James Cameron really be able to make a good Terminator film now? He's gone 20 years without making a great film. Say what you will about AVATAR but titanic and true lies were excellent.

Titanic gets a lot of bad press, but it does what it sets out to do. So does Avatar.

Still it won a shit ton of oscars 11 wasn't it? Also one of the highest grossing films so yeah...
bryanee
Really though? Keaton was a great Batman and Bruce Wayne. He was a lot more solid than Bale. I thought he was a good Batman but not so much Bruce. I feel Bale does both parts better. Have to say when Keaton was in the Bat costume his eyes looked just right if you get what I mean.

mcj metroid
Still it won a shit ton of oscars 11 wasn't it? Also one of the highest grossing films so yeah... Yeah?.... So we SHOULD hate it because it was massively successful.. Titanic is something I'm not sure I get the hate for... I think it's one of the all-time epic movies but yet it get's treated as a guilty pleasure along the same lines as a guy loving "showgirls" or something.. Brings me back to the ol sheeple and underdog psychology of people( not saying you ) But that's off-topic, and I don't want to get into my "internet hates popular shit because it's popular" routine. ON-topic: Terminator wasn't bad but it shouldn't have been made. I really taught James Cameron ended 2 so there could possibly be no sequel...Actually lol you see ever seen the alternate ending? Yeah its on one of the dvds....I prefer the actual ending we got, because it leaves us assuming the future won't pain out how it should have done and that was the war was preventing. That's what I kinda hated about Terminator 3 because they rewrote "no fate..." and made it that they just put off Judgement Day and that it was inevitable, like I said earlier in the thread though think the ending of T3 was ballsy and cut with convention as it wasn't a happy ending. Theres rumours going around that the new sequel will completely ignore T3 and Salvation and see Linda Hamilton and Edward Furlong return. I really want to see Arnie return as a villian so badly. For me the perfect thing would be that it picks up in modern day, judgement day hasn't happened but somewhere there is an old T800 arnie model that perhaps didn't time travel properly and has laid dormant all these years and gets reactivated (its aged because the flesh on a terminator still ages) and then that sets about skynet's revival so to speak. Terminators time travel "physics" differ to say those of back to the future, things don't just fade away when skynet is destroyed so this new terminator and its components could set about judgement day. Perhaps have this new terminator also realise this and the conflict is not just the hunt for John Connor but also like T3 have it trying to bring about Judgement Day. Hell have Michael Biehn somehow return as Kyle in some sort of time travel arse fuckery...
Fierce_LiNk
I would love to see Arnie as a bad Terminator, again. He owned that role. I remember as a kid being scared watching him, and then Robert Patrick in the sequel. Cmaaaaaaan.
mcj metroid
T1000 is awesome though. You'd think having the smaller and thinner terminator would make him less scary but no... that guy was scary as shit... I gotta admit though, I had no problem with the TX( woman terminator) from Terminator 3 either, but they should have given her more power, as it really seemed like she was a step down from the T1000. I guess her big thing was that she had weapons built into her but they didn't make the most of it for some reason that wasn't as scary and knives and pointy things of the T1000. Also to be fair despite its depressing apocalyptic ending for the most part the film was very different in tone to the previous 2. More jokey and witty, she wasn't scary and was more composed that intimidating.

I agree, I was kept on edge by T-1000! It's his expression. I thought T-X looked more bewildered than anything; I wasn't scared by her at all, the things she did seemed a bit fake/too effortless?
