Retro_Link Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 The first Transformers was actually enjoyable.Maybe because it's fucking epic!
Cube Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Maybe because it's fucking epic! The effects are epic. The plot, script and acting is awful.
Retro_Link Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 The effects are epic. The plot, script and acting is awful.I think it's all fine for what the movie is tbh! It's based on a cartoon and tbf the movie is just like an extended episode of the cartoon really. Look what happenened when they'd tried to do more with it = ROTF!
Cube Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Blade Runner, except I don't love it at all. I don't think I have strong enough words to even respond to that.
Aztec Rose Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 ... I only enjoy terrible movies. My DVD 'collection' remains embarrassing for a number reasons... I suppose a small stack of every film to star Hugh Grant doesn't really count. I guess I should at least attempt to watch a proper film, a 'classic' or something. People tell me that the Lord of the Rings is supposed to be quite good. Hmm. But it's Christmas! Surely we should really be watching warm-hearted Christmas films. Now, Love Actually is very warm-hearted. Plus the casting is exceptional. Like I need an excuse.
Retro_Link Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 ^ Love Actually is brilliant, I love it! Best Christmas Movie! And similarly The Holiday is another decent Christmas alternative. And Yes you should watch LOTR!
Paj! Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Blade Runner, except I don't love it at all. You're a disgusting human. That is foul. I'd rather the discussion went back to teen idols than see this on my screen.
The Lillster Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 (edited) I like The Grudge movies. I like them because I like movies which involve ghosts (technically the woman with bad arthritis and a bad sore-throat isn't a ghost). Some times the atmosphere can be really creepy, other times I can't stop laughing. Like the time when the Husband killed the Cat lol. Fucking Cats pissing and shitting on my lawn! Diageo Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 I've watched The Grudge 2 recently, one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Definitely a great film for how bad it is.
