Dog-amoto Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 So, I'm not really a massive fan of their music, but I'm sure many of you have seen their fantastic videos including the treadmill one: But their latest one for White Knuckles surpasses the lot in my opinion. Superb. And done in one take apparently
Raining_again Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 So, I'm not really a massive fan of their music, but I'm sure many of you have seen their fantastic videos including the treadmill one: But their latest one for White Knuckles surpasses the lot in my opinion. Superb. And done in one take apparently I think there was like 100 versions filmed though :P Takes some serious dedication to do it all without stopping! They did the same with the treadmill video - I think it took 18 tries! I freakin love Ok Go.
Dyson Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 That was awesome! I'm not sure if that was better than their Goldberg machine or not. Excellent
The Peeps Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 This video is also great. I love Ok Go, their music, their videos, all of it. They put so much humour into their work and it's great to see. Their first two albums were brilliant, the third is a bit of a different sound for them which I didn't like too much initially but it's really grown on me.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Right, how the flying fuck were they able to time those things so it fit with the rhythm?!?
Dyson Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 It's OK Go. You don't question it, you just accept it for what it is...much like their music.
ipaul Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 I still think their 'End Love' video is the best one.
S.C.G Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 OK Go are amazing, I allready knew one or two of their tracks thanks to Rock Band & Guitar Hero but when I first saw the treadmill video - thanks to Raining - I was like... and then... they are truely godlike in their timing and execution.
Shorty Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 (edited) The Rube Goldberg is awesome, but my favourite of their single-take videos is this one, and I think it suits the tune better Edited September 25, 2010 by Shorty
Caris Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 They make some awesome videos but I don't rate there music at all.
Retro_Link Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 Yeah I was gonna post theie new dog video, it's brilliant! Took something like 4 weeks of filming to get right, as it's a continuous take.
