heroicjanitor Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 5 people commented within 20 minutes of JaySeven's update, so it wasn't completely forgotten. How many pms did you receive?
jayseven Posted November 7, 2010 Author Posted November 7, 2010 I just don't really know what to do. I'll do the write-up tomorrow evening and if people want to still play then they can. If they don't then they can PM me for death. Needless to say I don't think I should do any more mafias for a while!
The Peeps Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Well that sucks, this was a good game. Did you just lose interest Jay?
jayseven Posted November 7, 2010 Author Posted November 7, 2010 I loved the story/characters, and had/have full intention to see it through - just people dicking about with PMs really made my ego sour. The pattern was that days would end on fridays and nobody would send PMs over the weekend when I had the most hours free. As I said, I'm going to do the write-up tomorrow evening and we can see where it goes from there.
jayseven Posted November 8, 2010 Author Posted November 8, 2010 (edited) That Damned Preacher left his soap box on legs heavy, throat dry like cinder, eyes glazed with unfamiliarity. The square-fisted man found his target as expected but was not prepared for the long night of sitting around, waiting for something to happen. The writer sat back, and waited for his computer to do its job. You've got mail, it said. "... Niiice!" At his door, the hatted sleuth stepped away from the peephole and walked away. The detective's assistant, perhaps glad to be away from his lecherous eyes, found her target, and left as soon as she noticed his complexion. That target continued on with his job for the evening, and found a large robot already there, providing exactly the same service he was about to. He lit a cigarette and hung around. Noah saw the assistant leave, and waited until he was a sufficient distance from anyone else. Ellmeister is dead. He was Eli, a liberal . Day 5 begins now. 13 players remain. Majority is 7. Ellmeister Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 I knew the game should have ended! fUUUUUUUU J7!
ReZourceman Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 I've tried to target someone twice now and failed on both occasions, I assumed I was being roleblocked first time, but the same things happened/different/non-consecutive nightsssssssss...
Diageo Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 I'm glad this isn't over, although I stopped taking notes on the write-ups, I still like reading them. Seems very little was sent in terms of PM's though.
The Peeps Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Put your hand up if you're still active *raises hand* Ell was my partner and an investigator. He investigated Diageo last night but he died before I could see his full report but I did find out that Diageo is a robot. And with this shaky evidence here: Aren't all robots probots? Surely you would know if you're not a probot? vote: Diageo
Diageo Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 I am the furthest thing from a robot. This is preposterous, and you must be the last probot still standing to say so. How would I know if all robots aren't probots if I am a human? I just assumed.
jayseven Posted November 8, 2010 Author Posted November 8, 2010 EDITED OMG WTF I mean yeah... I got Ellmeister's character name wrong. That's all that changed. he was Eli, not Magdeline, wtf. Vote count stuff 7 is majoriity Diageo (1): The Peeps
The Peeps Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 IF you're human. How can I be a probot when I've been confirmed as the doctor who can protect AND I roleclaimed to get Chairdriver lynched. I had assumed you to be human from your comment but I've now found you out to be a robot so I'm going with it. And did you really just say I must be the last probot purely because I voted for you? Who says there's only one left anyway.
heroicjanitor Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 The detective's assistant, perhaps glad to be away from his lecherous eyes, found her target, and left as soon as she noticed his complexion. That target continued on with his job for the evening, and found a large robot already there, providing exactly the same service he was about to. He lit a cigarette and hung around. Noah saw the assistant leave, and waited until he was a sufficient distance from anyone else. Ellmeister is dead. He was Eli, a liberal That sounds to me like Ellmeister investigated a human. Where did you get your info if Ellmeister died.
Diageo Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 I don't remember much, but if you are truly proved good, you must be mistaken.
The Peeps Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 You and ell targetted diageo. Unfortunately the full invetigative report... didn't quite make it back to you. However, you did learn that Diageo was a robot ^This is the PM I received.
The Peeps Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Noah saw the assistant leave, and waited until he was a sufficient distance from anyone else. Ellmeister is dead. He was Eli, a liberal I think this is the only part of the write-up that refers to Ellmeister as he is obviously not the detective's assistant. In our role PM as well is in the night 1 write-up he is referred to as The Doctor's assistant. Where does it say Ell targeted a human, am I actually missing something?
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 ^This is the PM I received. (Just so you know, quoting PMs is normally not allowed. I don't know what jayseven's view on this rule is.)
Cube Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Where does it say Ell targeted a human, am I actually missing something? From what I can gather from the story, the robots in this are mechanical and metal, and therefore I don't think that a robot has a complexion.
jayseven Posted November 8, 2010 Author Posted November 8, 2010 Yeah I don't give a shit about that stuff. Plus it makes me realise I've made a mistake! LOL! May as well cut out the middle man; Sorry Peeps - Diageo's a HUMAN, MON, like.
The Peeps Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 From what I can gather it was the detective's assistant who noticed a complexion. Ell was the doctor's assistant. Dude.. you're killing me. Disregard everything then lol withdraw vote (Just so you know, quoting PMs is normally not allowed. I don't know what jayseven's view on this rule is.) This is like a quadruple merged post now but aren't you dead? ;P
heroicjanitor Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Robots smoking cigarettes would also have been weird. Well no harm no foul.

heroicjanitor Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Yes, but the law never dies! :p Except for when that cop was killed :p
