martinist Posted February 26 Posted February 26 I don't really buy a lot of comic books. The last lot I bought were the Invincable compendiums, but i've heard good things about the IDW Sonic comics. 1
drahkon Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Flights to and from Bilbao and also rented an Air BnB there with 3 friends. Never been to Spain. I'm so fucking excited (cost me way too much money, though ) Edited 2 hours ago by drahkon 1
Ashley Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago How have you never been to Spain!? I should hopefully be going there twice this summer. And to that point; forked out about £100 for a new passport when you include postage etc. Going to get one of those ugly Brexit black passports 1

Julius Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Hell yeah, have a great time @drahkon Speaking of holidays – I'm planning to be in Berlin in June and hopefully somewhere in Europe a good bit sunnier in October, as me and my docs are looking into me having pretty severe SAD, so this seems like a wonderful way to give myself the excuse to leave the UK behind for a week before it all goes to crap (well hopefully not this year but we'll see) 22 minutes ago, Ashley said: Going to get one of those ugly Brexit black passports Mine needs renewing in the next 12 months as it expires next spring, but I'm really not looking forward to joining the Ugly Passport Club 1

Although speaking of make sure you don't fall foul of the 10 year passport rule. Mine actually expires in July, but if you renew a passport and there's months left on it they get carried over so you end up with 10 years + remainder. However, now we've left the EU if your passport is over 10 years it won't be accepted and that's the case with mine - it was issued in February 2015 and expires July 2025, but can't now travel to the EU on it because its been 10 years since it was issued.

My bad I'm expecting nice weather in Berlin in June! Maybe some showers though? 9 minutes ago, Ashley said: it was a Sunday and apparently Germans don't open shops on a Sunday? I mean, @drahkon please confirm for Germany, but I definitely found that to be the case for most shops across quite a few countries I visited that shared borders with Germany growing up (Luxembourg, Belgium, Netherlands) so wouldn't be too surprised! I've technically been in Germany before, for all of 30 minutes as we parked the car there and walked back over the bridge to visit a park in Luxembourg, but still 12 minutes ago, Ashley said: Although speaking of make sure you don't fall foul of the 10 year passport rule. Thanks for the heads-up – yeah, I'm planning on having this Berlin trip probably be the last one on my current passport and then send off for a new one before my travels (hopefully) in October/November, as I know some countries can get a bit weird about having 6 months or less on your passport!

Ashley Posted 10 minutes ago Author Posted 10 minutes ago Stupid religion. Assuming that's the reason anyway.
