SummerSlam_%282010%29.jpg

Main event is Team WWE (John Cena, John Morrison, R-Truth, Bret Hart, Edge, Chris Jericho and TBA) vs The Nexus (Wade Barrett, David Otunga, Justin Gabriel, Heath Slater, Darren Young, Skip Sheffield and Michael Tarver) - 7 on 7 Elimination Tag Match

Not sure who the seventh man on Team WWE will be.

Other matches are

Sheamus © vs Randy Orton - WWE Championship

Kane © vs Rey Mysterio - World Championship

The Big Show vs The Straight Edge Society (CM Punk, Joey Mercury and Luke Gallows) - 3 on 1 Handicap Match

Alicia Fox © vs Melina - WWE Divas Championship

Dolph Ziggler © vs Kofi Kingston - IC Championship

Only 6 matches announced so far, but I'm sure there'll be a tag match and the Miz isn't booked yet, but I think he'll be the seventh man on Team WWE, but then turn on Cena.

Not exactly a stellar line up this year, not sure if I'll buy it.

Anybody else watching it?

without ranting about why wrestling isn't the same as it used to be..

This doesn't look all that appealing to me. im sure the 7 on 7 elimation match will work out well but it seems to be lacking any sort of special match, a casket match, hell in a cell or something like that.

I'm all for a good wrestling event with cool moves and holds but sometimes you gotta break it up with trashy harcore wrestling.

Also could be because i'm not interested in women all that much but The women's wrestling division has been horrible for a long time, not sure why they keep trying.

I'm annoyed with Bret Hart, he came back, fair enough that made me happy because I never thought it would happen and it brought me back to my childhood, but he keeps having matches and just.... not even wrestling, it's just like what is the actual point. He was known for being the "excellence of execution".

He came back slightly before WrestleMania and had a "match" with Vince at WM and he has just kind of hung around since then, he was the GM but I'm not sure if he is at the minute, I've not watched it for a while.

As for the how and why, I really do wonder lol, poor sod his back is so messed up I don't think he can even take a bump at all.

He's not the GM anymore, he got "sacked" (i.e. they gave him time off to get married). Makes me wonder why he is hanging around still, i guess he has the time though.

John Cena seems to be shedding his persona as a complete tool... Obvious path to a movie career.

Shawn Michaels isn't there. Not really worth watching.

thats true his matches were the only reason I was still watching it last year.

Didn't expect this though, after checking the results

It wasn't who you thought it be, but WWE finally decided to re-hire Bryan Danielson and put him as the 7th man. At least WWE has some sense finally.

Its crap now right, i'm all for seeing girls in next to nothing on top of each other grunting.

but it's not Lita, Trish Stratus, Victoria, Molly Holly (before getting her head shaved), Stacey Keibler, Torrie Wilson.... (that invasion story line brought some lookers to WWF)

of course the original meathead Chyna.. god damn she was ridiculous!

I did a shit this morning that could wrestle better than John Cena, god I hate him, WWE these days is just the Cena show :(.

It was an ok PPV, good to see Bryan Danielson back.

I prefer TNA these day's, anyone watch hardcore Justice? Now that was a PPV :D

Yeah that surprised me too.

Wasn't surprised to see who else returned though.

Hopefully will get to see him live in Manchester in November.

Na, "he" wasn't a surprise. It was bloomin obvious.

As i said, WWE did right with bringing back Danielson, i would have lost more respect if he didn't come back.

I found that the match at Summerslam, Nexus vs Team WWE. No, it was Team RAW. Smackdown had nout involvement with it, and to be fair it was more "Team John (i overcome the "impossible" with only 3 or so moves) Cena.

Hardcore Justice, not bad at all. Nice to see a proper re-union show (since the first "One Night Stand" WWE put on).
