MATtheHAT Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 At today's "Street Fighter IV and Beyond" panel, Capcom producer Yoshinori Ono revealed that he and his team "haven't forgotten about Street Fighter III." As proof, Ono offered an announcement, Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Online Edition. "We're just starting to work on it," Ono said of the new version of Street Fighter III, so "It won't be out in the immediate future." The fighting game producer said that fans should be vocal about their wishes for Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Online Edition as the team working on it had just begun development. Capcom will be taking fan feedback and suggestion in mind when developing the game so be sure to bug Seth Killian over on Capcom-Unity with your ideas!
S.C.G Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Street Fighter III? awesome! it's actually the one game out of the series that I didn't actually get to play - criminally - so I'll be downloading this for sure.
Dyson Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 It's an awesome game. You'll never pull off a parry in competitive play but be damned if you don't try and get the timing right in training.countless times.
Mundi Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Well here is another thing to justify me buying a fightpad.
S.C.G Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Well here is another thing to justify me buying a fightpad. As if SSFIV wasn't already enough of a reason... I've had a fightpad since SFIV came out and they are defintiely worth it.
Dyson Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 It's true, they are. And with SFxT coming out in 2012 I might finally upgrade to a Fightstick!
MATtheHAT Posted July 29, 2010 Author Posted July 29, 2010 Fightsticks are awesome, it took a little time to adjust from a pad, but it was worth it. So much more control and precision. I've got two now, a wireless Tekken stick and a Madcatz SFIV TE fightstick. Both are superb.
Domstercool Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Shame there's no date for this. Sounds like it could be late 2010 or early 2011. I loved playing SF3 online on the original Xbox, still my fave fighter
