Daft Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 Play it some more Daft - we need your times on Autolog! It bores and annoys me. It's not weighty enough for me to enjoy getting a best time and it's not brutal enough for me to enjoy taking people down. Paradise City is where I belong.

Happenstance Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Ok ive decided I do like the actual racing now, even the sluggish steering is growing on me a bit but the game design itself is really pissing me off. Specifically the amount of times it loads pointless upgrade screens etc that just leave me waiting to either retry a race or just carry on and pick a new one.

I totally agree - once you get the faster cars the game really opens up. To the all moaners and whingers I say play the game some more. Still working on the Platinum on this I'm now max rank (20) as a cop and a racer. Just need to get all gold on the 108 events now - gulp. Oh and if you want a challenge try the super sports dlc pack - man some of those events are rock hard!

S.C.G Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 ^ I managed about 1:13:86 I think... but I know that I can do better, anyway may give it a few tries but I'm not all that fussed, I read up and there are three stages to the competition and only the first 5000 PSN's and 5000 GT's to register will be counted with the fastest 50% going through to the next round etc. Still it's a fun little competition I suppose.

Getting the cops on your tail was the best thing about Most Wanted, and it's great in this game. Even better when you're a cop. Mighty Takedown of Justice!

I sent an email to support but there contact web-site is such bollocks I just posted in a place that seemed kinda right, not got an email to confrim that's even been accepted. I got the email to say I signed up to the autolog obviously i'm in the top 10.

It is now the second round, the leader bored was poster for the first round on Friday.

Seacrest Tour is challenging, it's the last racer event and I'm trying to get gold on it, I've done a few complete runs of it but never placed first and quite often when I'm in 1st my cars already at critical damage so I end up getting wrecked even in the Gumpert Apollo which is built like a tank lol. Fun times... :/

I'm really disappointed about how few PS3 owners on here have this - I thought the competitive nature of autolog would be fantastic on here but we need more of you playing. If you liked burnout then you'll love this (unless your Daft). I implore more PS3 players to get this it really is that damn good. It's insanely fast, graphics are top notch and the racing is spot on. One of the Criterion dudes on Neogaf has also said expect as much support and add ons to this as burnout - so come on people buy this game you won't be disappointed it has Cookyman's seal of approval. It also has Daft's seal of of meh but ignore him he's wrong!

NFS is Burnout 2s pursuit mode expanded in to a full game, and it rocks hard.
