Start/Select Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Hey guys, I'm doing some research for my dissertation topic 'female representation in videogame culture' and it would be a massive help if anyone browsing the forum could take the time to fill in my questionnaire to aid my research. http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/DBSD2JY It shouldn't take too long to complete and where applicable detailed answers will be appreciated. Thanks for reading. Start/Select.
Eenuh Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Filled it in for you. =) I did a paper on females in gaming and in videogames last year heh. Was quite fun to do.
MoogleViper Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 I did it. Wasn't very detailed though. I didn't have much to add.
Will Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Did the survey, I don't have much of an opinion on the subject to be honest though.
Start/Select Posted January 31, 2010 Author Posted January 31, 2010 Thanks to all those who have filled it in. I really appreciate it. The questionnaire is still open so if you know anyone who would be interested in contributing please send of link them this questionnaire. Thanks again!
Ashley Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 I did it. Wasn't very detailed though. I didn't have much to add. This. Although if asked to write a paper about the role of females in videogames then I could probably write quite a bit but I think the little boxes for answers/the fact my head is elsewhere led to clipped answers. Best of luck with it though
mcj metroid Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 done. NOt much detail either however. I personally wouln't care if a lead is female or male at all. In fact if it's a female it almost makes the game feels more unique if anything.
