Damn Brusling still playing. He's got to leave at some point the fooker!

As I said a few seasons ago in a press release... He signed a 5 year contract so he's got a while to go yet!

(I've actually thought of selling him for a few seasons now to cut my losses and make sure I get something for him... I can't take myself to do it though!)

A molesting draw -- figures as I was playing for experience. I've only got one guy leaving - I don't remember if he was part of the original team or not. He's a legend at the club, but will be forgotten in a year or so. There are replacements coming up - but my team's still got a long way to go before it can be considered a force to be reckoned with!

And why are we lolling at Haden's team? It says he only lost one guy...

I fielded a youth team against Dyson, and only lost 2-1...wtf . I went full strength earlier in the season, shat all over his tactics and lost 3-0. Suppose that doesn't matter, i expected no points today.

My youth keeper got 63% exp, and all my other youths got 30%. Tis all good baby :D

Happy with the result today. Dominated the game with plenty of chances.

Also, not sure how many people read the Xpert news so i'll quote it here, pretty important changes for next season.

More importance for match experience

This change is applied only for leagues with a season start date from the 15th of March. All other leagues will work the same way as before until they start a new season.

The new development value

Up til now the players have only been able to reach 100% and that's it. But now all match experience will count and benefit the players. Also the average form will not be as decisive as before. The skill change of the players at the season update will be decided by a new development value. This development value will look like the average form and replace the average form on the player's page. The development value can be between 0 to 20 form bars and if it is showing above 10 form bars then the players skill will increase at the season update and if it will show below 10 bars the players skill will be reduced at the season update. Working just as the average form did before.

The development value will be a value that incorporates the average form and the match experience together into accumulated value. The value will initially in the season be very low but as the player's match experience increases the value will increase. This change mean that if a player has received a lot of match experience during the season he can increase his skill even though his average form during the season ends below 10 form bars and vice versa.

The average form will still be presented but only as dots below the current form as it has been presented on the training page. The match experience bar will no longer be shown. Instead the new development value will be shown. For the vip members the development value will be shown on the team statistics page where the match experience were shown previously.

The match experience's influence on the development value will decrease the more match experience the player get. This means that the first match experience will be more worth than the last. But for each match experience the player get he will benefit from it. There won't be any limit.

Adjustment in the way players get match experience

In addition to this change we have also adjusted the way the players get match experience. From Thursday the players will get match experience not only from their teammates but also from their opponents. When it comes to goalkeepers the opponents will get 60% of the match experience from the opponents and 40% from the team mates. All other players will get the other way around, in other words 60% from the teammates and 40% from the opponents. When it comes to the match experience from the opponents the age will have less importance compared to the match experience received from the teammates.

We have also adjusted so that the minimum match experience a player can get from a match is slightly lower than before and the maximum match experience a player can get is slightly higher than before. In all other aspects the match experience will work just like before. Friendlies will still give only 10% out of a normal match experience gained in a competitive match.

This change concerning how the players get match experience is applied for all leagues.

The implemention

On Thursday morning the site will get an application update including the changes mentioned above. This application update will also include quite a few other changes and new features. So pay attention to the coming news article on Thursday.

Sounds good to me. Average form can be frustrating sometimes. If I'm very unlucky my keeper might drop a skill point. He definitively won't increase. His experience this season would make up for it if the changes happened now.

Home Sides, Ready Steady Go!

The Sixty Fourthers 1-0 Haden United

The 64s kept their 100% home record up in an ill tempered game against Haden United. Playing 5-4-1 the 64s looked solid at the back but United's frustration (fueled maybe by the news of the loss of Agostini one of their best midfielders at the end of the season) poured out into multiple yellow cards. And then a mistimed tackle nearly cause a team vs team fight as youth midfielder Kurdi was upended and stretchered off. Yaketi who came on for Kurdi was inspired by his fellow midfielders brutal exit and thumped in the only goal of the game with a stinging shot just before the hour mark. The game began to descend again into violence as the mood of both players soured towards each other. It finally erupted when Marconossi a United forward shoulder barged a 64s defender starting a general brawl and getting the forward sent off. 64's held out for the win and move up to 4th with title hopes still a slight hope. United's own title hopes took a big blow and they will need to win all their remaining games to stand a chance now.

Secret United 2-0 Happenstance FC

Secret United kept their title charge going as they defeated a doomed Happenstance side. Playing 3-5-2 United's midfield was their key strength again. MacCalman produced the 54th assist of his career when he crossed the ball for Kit to head into the back of the net. Happenstance playing 3-4-3 looked vulnerable without having an attack to worry United. Brusling who has confirmed he is staying with United for another season set up MacCalman with a close range shot that rebounded in off the post. The match ended with United in control but sadly for them a bad injury to Heinze and a red card for goal scorer Kit. Still they will gladly take the 3 points they are now primed to make a final title charge. As for Happenstance relegation is now their only fate barring mathematical miracles.

Noodle Esporte Clube 3-0 AFC Rez Rabies

Noodle broke a horrendous run of losses to win an absolutely crucial match against fellow promoted side Rabies. Both teams played 4-4-2 but it was Noodle who seemed to have more momentum behind them. Rembrant troubled the Rabies defense early as captain Ferraz headed in his cross. After a quiet first half Noodle burst out the blocks in the 2nd half, Ferraz duked past two defenders and was then tripped in the box. He converted the penalty himself to the joy of the home fans. Rabies day got worse as youth midfielder Collander took a severe knock in only his 2nd game for the club. The game was more even than the score suggests but luck was with Noodle today and Godinho made it 3 with a blistering curling shot. Noodle now move 3 places above the drop zone 4 points ahead of Rabies. However Rabies have a game in hand and shouldn't count themselves out of staying up.

Roostophe Rovers 3-0 Battlestar Odwinica

Rovers easily disposed of a resurgent Odwinica in fine style. Rovers played 3-5-2 against an ultra defensive 5-3-2 Odwinica side. The game started with a couple of injuries for Rovers but the replacement striker Tartara came on and put Rovers ahead with a close range shot, his 6th of the season. Sheldon then settled it moments later with a blistering free kick into the back of the net. Odwinica's midfield only produced one chance and when Cabrera one of their best defenders was badly injured you sensed more trouble was coming. Sheldon lined up another free kick and this time gently curled one in to the top right hand corner. The game ended 3-0 with Rovers easily on top and back at the top of the league. Odwinica after a great recent run find themselves in trouble again but could still bounce back don't count them out.

Analysis

Most Important Result: Roostophe Rovers 3-0 Battlestar Odwinica, Rovers go to top while Odwinica drops into the relegation zone.

Turned on the Style Award: Roostophe Rovers, were talented and stylish from the get go.

Player of the Day: Alessandro Ferraz, Noodle Esporte Clube, led his side to a vital win with 2 important goals.

Bang goes another game

Where it went I cannot say

Now I have tactics to do for next week

Emo Blades 0-0 Madpool

The middle league promotion race is going to the wire as neither the Blades or Madpool managed to edge this match. Both teams played 4-4-2 and had 4 chances each but never really looked like scoring as the match went on. Madpool was trying out a new youth striker Markovic who seemed overawed by the occasion. While Zeca underperformed yet again for the Blades, he has only scored 3 times in 11 games now. The teams were equal in almost every way and a draw was the deserved result. It leaves Madpool a point behind the Blades still but with a game in hand. You would probably side with Madpool on the run in but any of several other teams not just these two could be in for a promotion shout.

Silverdale Hotpot 3-0 Jaffa Munchers

Silverdale produced a superb performance to beat the Munchers comprehensively at home. Both teams played 4-4-2 but it was all about Silverdales midfield. Caskey, Andervi and Beresford produced the best performances of their careers making Silverdale's midfield a sight to behold. The end result was Silverdale had 8 chances to 0 for the Munchers. The Munchers held out in the first half as Silverdales forwards failed to make an impact. However Andervi with pin point passing set up first Beresford and then Drynan for goals. Beresford headed in a goal in injury time to make it 3-0 and give Silverdale a fabulous victory. Jaffa Munchers slump to the bottom of the table and frankly looked doomed to be relegated unless they have a superb final few games. Silverdale are still in the relegation zone but are hot on the tails of the faltering Soap Box Utd, only a point behind.

DuDs Baggies 1-2 Dysonism F.C

Baggies have resurrected themselves in this league from relegation certainties to title challenges while Dysonism have been faltering recently from their once steady throne. It was Dysonism who deservedly triumphed today however. Playing 3-4-3 Dysonism went right after the Baggies wanting to get their top stop back. The game was tight with the sides having two chances each in the first half, it was Boland who hit home a beautiful long range effort his 5th of the season to put Dysonism ahead. It was the young players that ran the day for Dysonism with Twigg sending a sprinting Garcia past the Baggies defense to slot it in and make it 2-0 in the 2nd half. The Baggies earned some pride back when Ostberg hit a half volley home to make it 2-1. However Dysonism deserved to win this match and go back to the top of the table. Baggies are still in a strong promotion position but other teams are closing in.

Recall United 1-0 Soap Box Utd

Recall United dragged fellow promoted side Soap Box Utd into the relegation battle with a close home win. Playing 5-3-2 United looked solid in defense and went ahead even with this formation after 9 minutes. Star midfielder Hollingdale hit in his first goal of the season with a cheeky flick in after a corner. Soap Box had more bad news as veteran defender Pothuizen was injured badly on the 18 minute mark and will be out for over a week. The teams dueled for a while with minimal chances before United's crowded defense gave away a penalty. 37 year old 137 games played midfielder Fessem stood up to take the penalty. He struck it cleanly but it rattled against the post the veteran held his head in his hands as the goalie gathered it up. Recall United closed the game out with their strong defense and held out for a vital win. They are now not bottom of the league for the first time in a long while. Soap Box bad run carries on and promotion hopes are being replaced by relegation fears.

Analysis

Most Important Result: DuDs Baggies 1-2 Dysonism F.C, Dysonism is back in charge after a impressive victory against the Baggies.

Turned on the Style Award: Silverdale Hotpot, a performance that many thought they would be giving all season.

Player of the Day: Silverdale's midfield trio, the three players mentioned earlier in the report all combined to give a amazing performance.

Mcoy will spend the next few weeks understanding how this system understands fully. Maybe if Mcoy is feeling generous he'll pass on the information :)

Summary

It may seem complicated but it really isn't. So to summarize it easy:

* Read the new development value as you have read the average form. It works just the same.

* More match experience is good.

Mcoy thinks playing youth players just 3-5 games isn't going to cut it anymore.
