Xpert 11 Season 12

Recommended Posts

Mwhaha! I knew Twozzok was lying about changing his formation - or that he'd forget. I won, but a dissapointing one considering I had 7 - 0 chances and mega-loads of possession. But to be fair Twozz's keeper matched mine with a rating of 10. In total I had 4 players playing at 10 today and three at 9 - a fantastic performance overall.

8-4: Astonishing! A new league record for most goals in a game and most goals by one team. From 'only' 12 chances for rez and 8 for Roo, it shows just how scary the top flight is.

How does he do it? It shouldn't be possible. My team has better players than his and I guessed his formation correctly. I don't think he prepared at all, he didn't look at my page.

Mcoy thinks 4-3-3 is a dodgy tactic away from home depending on your play style and other tactics, can leave your midfield and defense very weak.

Mcoy swears Brian Gower needs to be stopped though.

WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF.

That was crazy. 3 goals in extra time! I had 94th and 95th minute goals! What is going on. Crazyness. You just can't predict this shizzle. Nice surprise though, but unfortunately I'm far from clear of the woods yet.

No games for Silverdale for 11 days now, hopefully the break should see the team peak up some form.

My best result yet against Haden, I'll take that!

I'm expecting at least one loss against Odwin, but we shall see. Trying to get 100% match experience as soon as possible so I can play a full strength team. So yes Odwin, you get your wish.

These are not the Usual Suspects

Moria: "I'm a businessman"

Ellmeister:"There's nothing that can't be done"

Mr Odwin: "What you got a team of monkeys working around the clock on this?"

Roostophe "Flip you up! Flip you for real!"

Haden: "People say I talk to much"

Secret United 2-2 Haden United

Secret United and Haden United canceled each other out in a close match that had viewers on the edge of their seats. Haden United only had 1 chance compared to 5 for Secret United, but it was Haden United that went ahead first with Marconossi heading in a Durov corner. Secret United hit straight back Heinze hit home a Brusling cross from a free kick a minute later. In the 2nd half Mozzini back from injury delivered a superb cross that Eveleens headed home to give Haden United the lead again. But again 3 minutes later Secret United equalized, Brusling swung in a cross for MacCalman to nod home. The game was a very interesting one, Secret United played 3-5-2 and ended up with 4 more chances than Haden United, however the manager chose to play youth striker Rundberg who sadly was not up to the pace of this game. Had he played a different striker Secret United probably would have won it is often hard to know when to play youths and when not to. Secret United dropped from 4th to 6th place in the league but looked strong and should win against Odwinica tomorrow. Haden United did well and stay in 3rd a point behind Noodle.

The Sixty Fourthers 2-1 Battlestar Odwinica

The 64s kept their 100% record at home as they beat Odwinica who were unlucky not to get something from this game. The 64s oddly played 4-5-1 against Odwinica a side whose prime strength is their defense. The 1st half was quiet with few chances and Odwinica seemed to be looking good for a shock draw. However after the game restarted in the 2nd half, Odwinica defender Kharlashkin in a moment of madness barged into a 64s player then headbutted him after he was confronted by the angry player. He was given a straight red and Odwinica were now down to 3 defenders, the 64s had 5 chances this half and Odwinica couldn't stand the pressure. A penalty was given away 4 minutes after the red card, Rikabi easily slotted it away. On 67 mins Goblecoqe smacked in his 4th goal of the season with a long range shot to make it 2-0. Odwinica hit back to make the game dramatic in the last few minutes, Malmsteen headed in his first ever goal for Odwinica. However the 64s won and their up and down season carries on as they move out the relegation zone to 5th.

Essex Elites 5-1 Happenstance FC

The Elites shocked Happenstance FC as they ran riot scoring 5 goals. Playing 3-5-2 the Elites went for midfield control while Happenstance with 4-3-3 went for firepower. The Elites strategy seemed to pay off as Ling headed in a goal after 2 minutes. Marples made it 2-0 after 34 minutes but then the Elites lost their captain Hooke a minute later he was injured during a akward fall and won't be back till later this month. Happenstance were given some hope as Harford hit in a vintage direct free kick. After the break Happenstance striker Phingphaew was taken off after a clash with another player, this was bad news for Happenstance. More misery was poured on Happenstance as Marples scored again via a Ling cross, Marples now has 7 goals in 6 games. Happenstance looked uninspired utterly Kono and Spajic were having bad games and the midfield only made 2 chances. The Elites in comparison made 12 and scored twice in injury time, Carpenter with a close range shot and Cotino scored his first ever goal in the 97th minute via a long range shot. Happenstance are suffering now and badly need to string some wins together. The Elites are like 64s great at home but dodgy away they need to get those away wins to be a real force in the league.

Roostophe Rovers 4-0 Noodle Esporte Clube

Rovers came back in style as they outclassed Noodle to retake the top spot in the table after a bad couple of games. Playing 3-5-2 Rovers were the better side in all aspects, Mazzoleni curled in a beautiful shot to make it 1-0 after 15 minutes. Sheldon floated a magnificent through ball over the defense that Grabrinski attached himself to and went on to beat the goalie. In the 2nd half Staunton pinged in a great long range shot and finally Mazzoleni hit in a close range shot for his 50th goal for the club. Rovers had 60% possession and 12 chances and were incredible, with a goal difference more than twice as good as their nearest rival Rovers are back on track to be champions. Noodle were humbled today but as we approach the doubles they are a promoted side that are 2nd I think their manager would have taken that at the start of the season.

Analysis

Most Important Result: Roostophe Rovers 4-0 Noodle Esporte Clube, Rovers dispose of title rivals to reclaim top spot.

Turned on the Style Award: Roostophe Rovers, devastating stylish play.

Player of the Day: Danny Ling, Essex Elites, a goal and a assist plus his best ever performance in his 60 match career.

Emo Blades vs Predator

Emo Blades 2-2 Dysonism F.C

The Blades and Dysonism battled to a exciting draw that complimented both teams. Zeca confounded his critics again as he smashed in a terrific long range shot after 1 minute! Dysonism didn't panic and on 12 minutes Spirito found Arber in the box who hit the ball past a flailing Blades keeper. It was Blades who had more chances in the 1st half though and this pressure caused Twigg to head the ball into his own net from a Blades corner. Dysonism was impressive in the 2nd half and showed resilience that they haven't had to demonstrate much in this league. They came back and made more chances and gained more possession after the Blades had more of both in the 1st half. It paid off and Sandford blasted in a header on 62 minutes. It was an entertaining game and a draw is probably the correct result. Dysonism are now the only unbeaten side in the league and are dead set for promotion. The Blades are at the divide between success and failure they have 2 wins 2 draws 2 losses and are 5th!

DuDs Baggies 1-0 Jaffa Munchers

The Baggies gained a vital win as the Munchers sink into crisis mode. Baggies played a 3-4-3 formation and it turned out to be a stroke of genius. While the Munchers midfield and forwards performed badly their defense was their strongest feature. Munchers determined defense gained them 3 yellow cards before Baggies broke the deadlock with an awesome shot from the veteran Ostberg scoring his 1st goal for the club. Both teams had more chances but both defenses were quite well prepared, Baggies would have hoped to have scored more but the Munchers can have no complaints their attack looked very poor. It leaves the Baggies on the same points as the Munchers but 1 goal behind GD wise. The Munchers now have 3 losses in a row and are free falling in the league.

Tin Can Club 3-4 Madpool

In an extraordinary encounter Madpool somehow defeated Tin Can Club and inflicted upon them their first loss in the league. Tin Can Club played 4-3-3 against Madpools 3-5-2 the formations seemed to balance out at first. Tin Can Club went ahead as Saaf headed the ball in but Madpool struck back on 32 minutes with Hadley crossing the ball for Book to nod home. Madpool seemed to have more chances and Tin Can Club went into the break unsure about the 2nd half. They had a right to be fearful, Naranjo looped a header in to put Madpool 2-1 ahead. However the 19 year old captain Eggertsson stepped up for Tin Can Club took it past two players and whipped in a wonderful long range shot. Inspired by this Tin Can Club then took the lead via a Piearce header! However Madpools midfield who were brilliant were not ready for the game to rest, Hadley flicked the ball up for Carey who thumped home a long range shot. As the game stood on a precipice it seemed Madpools extra possession and chances might be for nothing. Just before the end though Quintal ran into the box lost his marker was passed the ball and flicked it over the goalie. The Madpool crowd went ecstatic as Tin Can Club supporters began to go home. It was an incredible match were a brilliant midfield defeated a potent but not inspiring attack. Madpool deserved to win it and fought hard for their victory. This was Madpools first away win and puts them in the promotion zone, for Tin Can Club it is a first loss but they are still in a strong position.

Silverdale Hotpot 0-2 Recall United

Recall United gained their first victory in a vital win against Silverdale. Recall United seemed the more dangerous side as they had the only chance of a boring first half. Indeed they were awarded a penalty but Philbin who for some reason takes Uniteds penalty missed it smashing it into row Z. United fans thought this was going to be another grim afternoon but after the break it was their team that looked on top. Streep the captain who was an inspiration found Deacon in the box who slid it past the goalie. The two players combined again as this time Deacon found Streep in the box and Streep also found the net. If there was one word to describe Silverdale it would be flat, their best player was defender Drynan but they had no-one up front or in midfield who looked like a game changer. The win is vital for Recall who were and still are staring relegation in the face, they need to string together a few now to escape. Silverdale are also facing big danger and face a tough game against Soap Box Utd today.

Analysis

Most Important Result: Silverdale Hotpot 0-2 Recall United, Recall are back in the land of the living with a vital win against Silverdale.

Turned on the Style Award: Madpool, 10 chances and 63% possession style and drama abound!

Player of the Day: Jamie Hadley, Madpool, but in honesty it is Hadley, Carey and Quintal what a trio of midfielders!

"I don't know what formation he is playing to beat him but I do know that as long as their is a single form increase in his side he will not give up and neither will Cubic County."

Ten Plus Win 2-1 Complete Domstercool

Ten Plus Win gave their season some momentum as they beat Domstercool at home. Playing 4-3-3 Ten Plus Win knew that they had to overcome a tough Domstercool defense with some firepower. Hamamoto the star of the side set up the first goal with a through ball that Kurisawa blasted in past a static Domstercool goalie. Domstercools almost constant forward issues surfaced yet again, Mansell who was playing forward by himself was injured badly in the 1st half and replaced by the midfielder Siddall. After the break Domstercool picked their game up and made 5 chances against 4 for Win, Whiteman curled in a beautiful long shot to make it 1-1. Ten Plus Win wanted to win this game though and kept on going after Domstercool, Kurisawa held up play then flicked the ball past the Domstercool defense. Naito scored easily in a 1 on 1 and Ten Plus Win came away with a great 3 points.

Cubic County 3-1 Eights United

Cubic Countys charge back to the top of the table carried on without a rest as they disposed of up and comers Eights United. Ashby lashed in a vicious shot for his 49th goal in his long career at County. Eights United got more involved in the 2nd half and tried to mount a comeback, Winge blasted in a free kick to make it 1-1. However Countys midfield was on fire and County wanted a victory, Woozley set up Vihko with a one two pass, Vihko found the net easily just outside the 6 yard box. A minute later Woozley curled in a long shot to finish the game. County are sure fire to be promoted the report feels with wins like this emphasizing their dominance, Eights United didn't fold however and are still in the promotion race.

Martinists Men 2-2 Veni Vidi Vici

The Men just saved a draw frustrating an ambitious Vici side. Both teams played 4-4-2 and seemed each others equal in the 1st half. Irving headed the Men ahead after 19 minutes but Abrey struck back with a header of his own to make it 1-1. Vici earned more possession (60%) and used it well when Whetherby deftly flicked the ball past the Mens goalie. However this was one of Mens best matches and the home crowd really got behind their team, Jollie scored via another header as Vici's goalie failed to control his box. This was a good point for the Men but Vici with their ambitious so sky high may have wanted to get 3 points from this match.

Edd Kirby Athletic 3-0 Discount Viagra

Two teams that have been performing under expectations met today. It was Athletic who took the 3 points as they outclassed and outwitted Viagra. Playing 4-5-1 against Viagras 4-3-3, Athletic had 9 chances compared to 3 for Viagra. Their sole striker Mortimer took 3 of these chances and created goals. Mortimer scored all 3 of his goals with headers, Viagras defense was not up to the task and failed to clear their ranks as crosses came in. Athletic needed this win badly and it puts them back into the promotion race. Viagra have had a miserable season so far and it isn't getting better, hopefully they can pick up some wins soon.

Analysis

Most Important Result: Cubic County 3-1 Eights United, County beat a promotion rival and just keep on looking incredibly impressive.

Turned on the Style Award: Edd Kirby Athletic, 9 chances show they turned on the style for this crucial win.

Player of the Day: Charles Mortimer, Edd Kirby Athletic, never scored before today but got a hat trick to give Athletic a great win.

football%20league%201.gif

Mcoys Sons 2-0 Edd Kirby Athletic

Mcoys Sons carried on their title campaign beating fellow relegated side Athletic in a one sided affair. The Sons got their tactics completely right as they played 3-5-2 against 4-5-1. Athletic thinking they may have got a midfield advantage actually let themselves down in attack. The Sons midfield beat Athletics and were rewarded with a 1st half goal. Moses crossed the ball in for Hall to head home after 32 minutes. Moses then scored a header of his own in the 2nd half to make it 2-0. The only downside of the win was Jevons got injured but he should be back in action soon. The Sons look formidable and a definite to be promoted, Athletic are still struggling and need to get their tactics in better order.

Complete Domstercool 0-2 Veni Vici Vidi

The fairy tale for Vidi carries on as they beat Domstercool away with ease. Domstercool played 5-4-1 but this defensive approach encouraged Vidi to attack. It was a quiet first half but Vidi really went after a timid Domstercool in the 2nd half. Bryan who had a wonderful game terrorized Domstercool defenders down the wing and crossed the ball in at 68 mins for Whetherby to slam home with a direct header. Youth defender Organista got send off for pulling a Vidi player back adding to Domstercools woes 2 minutes later. Vidi smelt blood and Bryan who was on fire curled in a incredible shot to make it 2-0. Domstercool are at risk of becoming a 4th class team at this rate, lets not forget they are a team that was around in season 3 losing easily to a brand new team.

Eights United 3-3 Ten Plus Win

This fixture saw two teams that are waiting to strike into the promotion zone clash. The high rising but now unsteady United took on the resurgent Ten Plus Win. An ill disciplined first period saw a penalty a piece for the two sides, Hamamoto hit Win's in while Gresdahl coolly converted United's. But it was Win who had gone with 3-4-3 that went into the lead when Hamamoto crossed a corner in for Nagawa to head in. United picked up their game in the 2nd half and created 3 times the chances that Win had, which wasn't surprising considering their 3-5-2 formation. Smerud made it 2-2 with a header that went in off the bar. Then with 4 minutes to go United seemed to have it sealed as Tavora scored his 1st goal this season with a determined diving header. The United crowd went ecstatic but with 4 minutes of added time gone Hamamoto struck again heading the ball into an empty net as the United goalie came out and missed the ball. Win fans went insane while United players stormed towards the referee to protest about the added time. United's promotion plans take a blow while Win's season has completely turned around.

Discount Viagra 3-4 Cubic County

County showed they are ready to fight for promotion in a thrilling contest against miserable Viagra. County who played a solid 4-4-2 went ahead after 26 minutes when Gould headed in a Maupas cross. County then had one of their best defenders Valle badly injured (back at the end of the month) and conceded a goal shortly later. Arber shot in a Ewing pass from short range. In the 2nd half Viagra pushed their advantage as Ewing swung in what looked like a cross, but curled in the top right hand corner to be a excellent goal. County struck back twice in two minutes, first in the 61st minute Trundle headed home a well placed cross, then a minute later Vihko volleyed County ahead. Ewing was just a thorn in County's side though and swerved in a great corner for Atlee to push into the net. But just as another 3-3 draw seemed likely Gould smashed in a violent long range shot to win the game for County. Viagra just can't catch a break but to be fair County deserved the win.

Analysis

Most Important Result: Complete Domstercool 0-2 Veni Vidi Vici, Vici are not slipping up while Domstercool are slipping to irrelevancy.

Turned on the Style Award: Cubic County, stylish attacking play won them a vital away victory against last seasons promotion contenders.

Player of the Day: Garry Bryan, an assist and a goal helped Vici keep their miracle run going.

And now here they are the most daredevil group of Xpert Players who ever played their teams in the Whacky N Europe Leagues.

Haden United 0-0 Essex Elites

Haden United and the Elites both seemed to lack a winning spark as they played out a goalless drab draw. Playing a youth side United looked underpowered in attack and midfield and created 0 chances in a game that saw the home crowd becoming very frustrated. The United of 4-3 wins against Rovers was not here today, as for the Elites they made 3 chances but their attack could not convert anything. That is all there is to say about the match, a good result for the Elites the first time they have ever got a point from United in 5 games. United could have topped the table but with their focus on youth this season are lacking cutting edge.

Secret United 1-1 Battlestar Odwinica

Another draw and another point for Odwinica away from home. Secret United were also playing youth like Haden Untied and Odwinica had more chances in the 1st half and were looking to capitalize.3-4-3 left United vulnerable at the back and Odwinica scored a shock goal a minute after the restart. Groves volleyed in his 1st goal of the season from a Malmsteen corner. United seemed desperate to push forward and Odwinicas defense pushed them back again and again. However in the 74th minute United were given a controversial penalty. Brusling stood up to take it and it was only going one way, right into the back of the net. United however could not score again and this will be seen as a bad result for them. Their youth Hennigan was also badly injured in injury time. United slip into the relegation zone but have a crucial double against Noodle coming up, Odwinica still look like they are going down unless they can do the double against the Elites. Anything can happen!

AFC Rez Rabies 8-4 Roostophe Rovers

Every now and then. Once upon a time. Hmm don't know how to start this report. Wow. I think that may do it. With Rabies rapidly falling down the table and Rovers seemingly back on top form no-one could have predicted this. Rabies played a 3-4-3 against a Rovers 3-5-2, Rabies daring paid dividends. The first half was a feisty affair, the captain Hallerstrom score first for Rabies with a close range effort before Rovers hit back with a sweetly struck Mazzoleni goal. Hallerstrom curled in a marvelous free kick 2 minutes later. Rabies seemed to be holding out until Tartara whacked in a ferocious long range effort. After the break Rabies came out no holds barred and were magnificent, sensing that Rovers defense was on the back foot they went after them full throttle. Messiah put Rabies back in the lead soon after the restart with a close range shot. A minute after this Rabies had a penalty but a nervous Wiberg blasted it high. The Rabies fans feared what might come next however Hallerstrom sent the goalie the wrong way with a outside curling freekick directly into the net. Utter disaster stuck Rovers moments later as Sakurai the youth Rovers defender was given a direct red for stopping a Wiberg break away. Now with a 2 man defense Rovers were on their knees. Wiberg scored via another break away on 81 minutes, but Rovers hit back with a Sheldon shot making it 5-3. The game was now frantic, Wiberg scored with another breakway mere minutes later! Mazzoleni hit back with a diving header 2 minutes after this to make it 6-4! The crowd were in shock but then Gladh scored to make it 7-4 and finally Wiberg got his hat-trick with a incredible bicycle kick to make it 8-4! This game was the most incredible spectacle that the report has ever witnessed. It was the finest hour of Rabies squad as they scored 8 goals half of their current seasons tally in 1 game. Rovers seem to lurch from unstoppable glory to crisis mode and this is definitely the latter. An incredible game one for the archives.

Noodle Esporte Clube 2-2 The Sixty Fourthers

The 64s clawed their first away point to deny Noodle going top of the league in the wake of Rovers loss. Kamal scored his first goal this season after 6 minutes as he was given the ball by Gobady dodged past two Noodle defenders and took it past the goalie to make it 1-0. However Noodle were so creative making 7 chances in the 1st half and converted one before the end of the half. Morais headed in a close range goal to get Noodle back into the game. In the 2nd half the goal scorer and talented defender Morais was badly injured and took no further part in the game. However Noodle looked determined to go on without him. Batistuta headed in a diving header to make it 2-1 as Noodle seemed to be on a roll. Osman the 64s attacker was given a second yellow on 80 minutes as he put his hands up to block the ball. Noodle fans seemed to have the win but somehow 64s 1 man attack scored in the 92 minute. Gobady hit a cross in for Kamal to head in off the bar. Noodle fans sank as their chance to go top again was snatched at the last second. A huge point and confidence boost for the 64s.

Analysis

Most Important Result: AFC Rez Rabies 8-4 Roostophe Rovers, really needed to ask? Incredible boost for Rabies in an immense game.

Turned on the Style Award: AFC Rez Rabies, again 8 goals against Rovers wow.

Player of the Day: Rudolf Hallerstrom, AFC Rez Rabies, a hat trick and an assist part of this incredible event.

Will try and get other reports for lower leagues tommorow. Doubles will come together so don't expect them till after Tuesday good luck for tommorow guys!

How the fuck is this possible? I guessed his formation, he targeted the centre when I went for angles, I got better players, and he beats me 3-1. I'm officially out of the race for promotion...

100% win rate against Oddy. Who else has that? :p

My players' form at the moment is sky rocketing! Brought Pizzulli back into the team after he slept with ex-teammate Burbage's wife. Not playing his best, probably affected by the boos, and lack of team-work from other players, but he'll back to his best soon!

Mcoy won his away game against Ten who have been showing alot of real improvement recently. Vindi seem to be doing very well odly enough with Brian Gower being a top goal scorer.

Mcoy is interested to see where the second half of this season will go.

Still got my perfect home record so far, but only a single point away. Crazy.

I'm the opposite. Only one home win for me and 3 draws. Away I'm 2 wins and 2 losses which I'm quite pleased with. If I pick up my home form in the 2nd half of the season I'm in with a shout to finish in a decent place.

Didn't play today, but it's depressing seeing Silverdale at the bottom of the table. Hopefully the second part of the season will be better for me.
