canand Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Yes VGAs are airing in the UK, we'll have more details to share soon - Geoff Keighley's Twitter Looks like Spike TV is getting pretty serious about this event. Hopefully this year's show takes games in a more serious manner. I really want the show to take off, and stand out as something that really represents gamers. Hopefully that day will come soon. http://gonintendo.com/viewstory.php?id=105934
Cube Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Shame that the nominations are a complete joke.
flameboy Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 urgh...who cares...the awards are a total joke and no one in the industry really takes them seriously.
Iun Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 That's great! What's this for? EDIT: Oh, wait. Yeah, these are a joke.
canand Posted November 29, 2009 Author Posted November 29, 2009 there will be world premieres of never before seen games.
flameboy Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 there will be world premieres of never before seen games. which will be on the internet with in hours (if not quicker) of the show airing so its no big deal...The only reason to watch it really is to see how awful games tv can be when its trying to appeal to the masses rather than making an awards show by gamers and exclusively for gamers...
