Next Front Mission exclusive to 360 and PC. Square Enix game so not surprising choice of platforms.

Never heard of this franchise before.

Like every SquEx game it'll probably come to the PS3 at a later date. Pointless because the majority of their games are crap.

Some of my friends were heavily into Front Mission 3 on the PlayStation at the time, but as I believe that's the only game in the series to come out in the US (no EU release, they imported it) bar the DS remake of the original it isn't exactly a blockbuster in the West. It's a mechanised SRPG, a niche within a niche.

Rumour has it Xseed might be bringing Demon's Souls to the US, which would be nice if for no other reason than making it a bit cheaper to import.

They are idiots.

Regarding Sony's motion controller - lol

Regarding reliability of the 360 - companies like M$ may make a load out of repairs but it would be better all round if they could just produce a more reliable console in the first place.

They make nothing, they loose loads.

This is why I think there might be a Slim 360, because they can totally re design the inside and make them better. Instead of just patching a flawed designed like they have been doing.

The 360 itself is flawed design. No amount of making the chipsizes smaller will eliminate the problems. The best they can do is lessen them somewhat.

Or they could decide to focus on quality for the next xbox but i doubt that. MS are not about quality.

Yes it's flawed, so if they totally re design it i.e new cooling system, motherboard design etc it will totally stop it.

They cant redesign it. Its a 360. The entire spec is fixed. The flaws arent just due to cooling issues. Much like how current 360 still RROD despite much better cooling. Its inherently flawed design. The only real change is when they move on to the next gen.

Damnit >.< I'm still waiting for my order from Hong Kong to arrive.

And on the point about quality, I would not say its about making the device faulty so people have to pay for repairs, its to make it outlast its warranty by a fraction so that they have to repair it then or by a whole new machine. In M$ case, their machine unfortunately has a high fail rate (can't remember exact term) so they so are losing alot of money when you consider what's involved.

There are administration costs (customer service through emails and telephone calls), the transportation costs of picking up the faulty 360's which are then to be replace, the costs of repairs, and investment into ways to re-design the architecture to be more stable rather than concentrating on progressively making the machine with parts that are cheaper to obtain but provide similar performance.

Then there is the damage to the public image of the product, (the high fail rate sure as hell affected my reasoning over whether to get a 360) the brand and the company as a whole which can affect trust in other products, as will be evident with Choze when he goes to buy a new keyboard, and sees a microsoft one sitting next to a logitech one for the same price for example.

You would be surprised at how many put up with it, spend well over the amount required for repair or buy a replacement from the same company. Its not a simple case of 'oh it broke' its definitely bad for the company.

Oh and coming for e3: tmntremake.jpg

Oh and both PS3 and 360 have rumoured motion sensing stuff. MS's one sounds pretty special.

New PSP will have new memory stick format. No inbuilt flash.

You either don't know what i mean or your being stubborn.

If they re design the insides, it won't RROD anymore. The reason they Red Ring is because the GPU and CPU come away from the motherboard due to it warping with heat. So if they make a whole new design that fits in the same white shell (or even a different one) then it will be fine, just like if there was a problem with the original PS2 the same one wouldn't be in the slim.

No you dont get it. They cant change the GPU or CPU. Only make them smaller. They have to be a part of the motherboard or they wont work lol. The 360's problems were hardly just overheating.

The PS2 never had any chipset issues to begin with. It was very robust.

Hahaha if you read my posts you would know what i meant, they don't need to change them they need to have a new cooling system so they don't pull away from the motherboard. They also need to move the GPU from underneath the disk drive as it has no room to breath. I hope your not just bashing the Xbox here for the sake of it.

You seem to think that heat is the only problem. Its not. Sadly.

Oh my god... Yes WHICH IS WHY IT REDESIGNED. its not good enough...

Nope try again. 360's issues are hardly just due to heating. Look it up. The only chance they will get at fixing these issues is BC on the new systems.

Seems like you have issues handling the meaning of the word 'flawed'.

Agh... you could have a computer engineer who just graduated, top of his class, from Oxford, and Choze would still explain that he's wrong. No one cares, man.

So I'm pretty hyped for E3. I do love it lots. Now that it's back (hopefully) to it's previous form (ish) I can't wait. It'll be interesting to see how Sony and Microsoft are chasing markets.
