chairdriver Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 Sarah is my second least favourite song on BFL's album Fur And Gold. "Horse and I" and "The Wizard" are my faves, but "What's A Girl To Do?" is the obvious single / song that would most appeal to the general public.
S.C.G Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 I found them both to be repetitive, but I found Numb slightly less dull :S I don't mind LP but I don't really like them much either but Numb seemed to know when to stop whereas the other one didn't IMO. Anyway I've become so Numb to this match so that's my vote.
rokhed00 Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 Both too dreary for my liking, so no vote for me.
spenno182 Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 I like all of Hybrid Theory and just that one track off Meteora. Everything else is exceedingly meh or urgh in my opinion. There were a couple of good tracks off Reanimation, to be unashamedly honest. basically agree with all of that, Linkin Park did 1 good album and then pretty much everything else is distinctly average. Heard 1 or 2 new songs that were decent though...
ReZourceman Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 I find it really weird that people could like Hybrid Theory, but not the others. Like...what? Whys that then?
Roostophe Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 Hybrid Theory had a decent nu-metal sound to it, which was alive and well at the time. But by the time Meteora came out, nu-metal was dead and they weren't really able to match what they had done with Hybrid Theory. They just seemed to be better as a nu-metal band than as a normal alternative-rock band.
The fish Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 Bat For Lashes gets my vote, although Numb (well, the Encore remix...) is a good club song.
