The largest poem I've ever written. I'm not satisfied with it at all. ::shrug:

Anyway, here it is...

Natural Science

Greyish rocks leave coldest eyes

looking for the greatest prize

while walking roads of simple stones

paved with rocks and death-hushed bones.

She rests on metallic silky leaves,

dreams of rocky cottony jeans.

The mirror seems just like a gate

behind her back it starts to change.

Water drops inside her mind

wanting her to touch and find

the calming beauty outside the town

which rests upon a tired down.

Now let's imagine what she sees.

Fire, bricks and bumble-bees.

Join her truly fantastic journey,

I passed by an infected gurney.

Open and close, right and left

alternating feet are the way's theft.

East and south and north and west,

find the direction suited best.

Places, routes and courses settled,

time tick-tocks in speedy battles.

Choose the hand's positions wisely.

When it's done, it warms the icy.

She did it well and what she did:

opend the door and closed her lid.

Right and left walked with control,

she pointed fingers, compassed the whole.

Time was checked, the sun's erased.

Moonlight shadows reveal the pace.

Hands tick, hands tock, even her own.

She starts to walk to the unknown.

Mankind, cars and an intrusion.

Neon lights, but not the fusion

of hydrogen into high-pitching

helium, voices keep on itching.

She felt at ease with nightly visions,

dark and cold, complete incisions.

Down the street into the clear,

none of them seems to come near.

"Did you know I cannot talk?"

Looked at him, eyes like a hawk's.

"Well, did you know, what do you say?"

He answered - plain and simple - "Ney.

The question's awkward, don't you think?"

"What do you mean, get me a drink."

She sipped the Jack quite rapidly.

After some more she's on her knees.

Outside the pub she can get up.

"I cannot talk!", loud noises dub

the scream she screams while violins

are crying and absolving sins.

"Can we help you?" asks the carbon.

Response came fast: "I beg your pardon?"

"We carbon twins and hydrogens

as well as hydroxyl origins?"

They did their work, then she was done.

In and out, they start to run.

Cleared her brain of darkest waves,

pain and sorrow gone for days.

A little light was able to wake

what appeared to be a lively ape.

Climbing through the treetops' heights,

it carried two large golden crates.

Inside these "almost treasure chests"

was nothing else than what was left

of a girl's soul and of her love

for nature's beauty touched by gloves.

She woke under organic matters

heard some birds' suspocious chatter.

Waterfalls reflect the spectrum.

Reached the place called "Nature's Kingdom".

Procrustination

I sit with my life in my hands, all alone,

helplessly twitching away from my mission:

unfolding the memories I wish I could own.

Things once had a shape; they've so easily flown.

How did I come to be in this position?

Just holding my life in my hands, all alone.

Yet still I push on, clutching tight on my tome,

my desires take form as a frame of ambition,

I unfold all the memories I wish I could own.

I sieve out my time into what can be known,

stretching my soul as I tax my cognition,

yet sit with my life in my hands, all alone.

But I feel that I still have one way to atone:

by ignoring the debris I'll let intuition

unfold all the memories I wish I could own.

Though now it's too late, and I work to the bone,

seeking to please and ignoring nutrition,

for I sit with my life in my hands. All alone,

I fold out the memories I wish I could own.

--------Poem I wrote this weekend---------

You sold me for a $50

drink up babe,

Enjoy!

I know you'll sure as hell try.

Then we hide like albinos

so we can stare at our parents with red eyes.

At least that's what I wanted to do

but now you wont reply.

Texts from Nohely today : None

80% chance of yearning

0% chance of inspiration

(cause I smoked it all away)

So we'll make a drum circle to try and give some love.

Desperate feat if you ask me,

but you didn't...

So go ahead and die.

Then I can wait for reincarnation,

maybe you'll come back as something useful

like someone with a mind, or maybe a life.

I have 5 short Poems for you today. I just wrote them!

Dancing with the bear

Unmasked by everyone's elegance

no one knew this lonely bear

clawing away at lost thoughts

slippery paws, wriggling fish, why must every attempt end in failure?

now the bear is meandearing, magic is not needed here.

Laughter is fickle but so is the thought of breakfast

Hollow shells lay, the remains just left from the night before.

a broken jaw, a twisted foot, laughter shouldn't be this painful.

____

Wisdom beyond his years

The strange king of old town was naught but a god in mans eyes.

They be fools.

They be fools.

Decieved by impurity, Man's only gesture is that of cowardess, unwilling to take the blame.

_____

It will never reach the river

Merry little swan, Merry little swan, you don't know what lies ahead.

Is it me or the breeze that is caught in your orange beak?

Merry little Swan, Merry little Swan, I shall tell you what lies ahead.

Is it me or the sun that is trapped in your ruffled feathers?

Merry little Swan, Merry little Swan, now you know what lies ahead.

is it me or the water that is trapped in your webbed feet?

______

Winning? ha! ban them in their prime.

Masters of their craft, no one should watch them.

Displaying round edges is never a mean feat.

never question, always answer.

The drop of a bell, on the foot of the ringer isn't going to happen.

Look in other places for the imperfect.

Here on the track no one will reply...

Walk

It starts with a crunch.

My feet collide with gravel and

my journey has begun

step by step I tumble into

a once forgotten world.

The ice pours in

and with an endless effort it tries

to seep below my skin

but I'm prepared for that.

I check my armour

pulling it close

around my skull

it keeps them out

and so I can go on.

And by now I'm

far away

the mists surround me and the cars

go on their noisy way

screaming past me with an anger that

I know is not for me.

Outside draws in

and I grow cold

continuing forwards I still check

the load upon my back.

It would not do

for me to lose

the message to my blacksmith.

Though tiredness rides

upon my face

my progress doesn't falter

a pendulum along the road

driven by

somehow unclear

traces of contentment.

But now my telos nears and I am glad

for I can last no more

the sensation in my fingertips seems

somehow anticipatory

but for what?

Here are a couple I created a few years back. I haven't really done any since then but have been meaning to.

Past Memories

Walking down an empty street

With the wind blowing with you

You sit down on the bench

As leaves fall down to you

You look back down the street

She is standing by a lonely tree

She smiles as she sees you

As you wanted her for some company

She walks towards where you are

As you stand up and face her

She pulls a rose from her pocket

But the memories are just a blur.

Harsh Nights

As you sit there on the grass

when the rain comes down on you

you don't mind the coldness

as the wetness fills your shoes

you look towards the night sky

your hands are turning blue

you pull a blade from your coat

and you want to start off new

you want your own freedom

but nobody wants to see your view

you hold the blade to your wrist

and thought 'If only they knew'.
